this game does suck... taunting is more important then combat... It lag something ridonkulous... and the stategy is completely absent... Theres no way to flank or anything of that nature it totally lacks actual military strategy.. Oh let me pul my unit beside your unit however just stand there andnot actually help my other unit that alrdy has u enganged

harold harradra and the duke of normandy both were elegable for the crown but they didnt get it so basicly the battles were for revenge

The instructions lack the directions on how to make formations. Shield walls happen automatically... but how do you do a boars snout?

Great game. And historicly accurate...They should do one of the fall of rome. You knw rome VS The franks, sannsinids (srry if spelt wrong) The hus Ect.

Multiplayer invites don't work, it says that they diconnected so then I try it thinking he didn't do it right and it says the same thing

You what I would find really interesting is if the creator made a sequel to this game, but the time period would be around the 1800s where instead of warriors charging each other you would line up regiments of troops using the same mechanics as this one and order your men to fire and maybe artillery in the backround and cavalry aswell.

I love this game its great. remember the good old days when humans fought with swords arrows and wooden ships those were the days!! now its just nukes or guns and tanks and aircraft lol

Being a strategy-gamer, I had to rate this game highly for its superbly intricate strategy gameplay. Hell, even if you find Ancient History a bit drab, you can't help but find wonder in the "splatter-for-color" art themes and "hero" units. Best of all, it gives you a nice lesson about the Battle of Hastings in a historically accurate storyline (History buffs rejoice!). 5/5

Commands are problematic. If I order flanking cavalry to charge, and the enemy advances even a square, the cavalry stop short.

Requiring codes to load games is absurd. It should just save like every other game. 3/5 just for that. Without that stupid saving system, it would be a 5/5.
