I don't know. When my troops run away after killing an entire group of enemy troops, and my 3 groups of knights flee the weakened general group, leaving 3 archer groups to get slaughtered by half of that group, I'm missing the accuracy of the game mechanics

It's pretty good the archery thing needs work tho, way too hard to aim and shoot right lol i'd like to see a sequel with more battles and a couple more factions maybe

should be able to attack enemies from the sides and i dont really get the taunting, why lowers it the morale of the enemy, they dont even understand it because they speak different languanges? why doesnt it just make yar own morale higher?

Graphics are the best part of this game, sadly. Some nice ideas, but slowness is painful, and the gameplay generally isn't that interesting.
The historical intro is very nicely done, though.

Whilst the Morale system is slighty un-balanced, this game is amazing. I think that you should either, A: make a sequel taking places around 1300-1450, using the French, English, and Scottish as the factions, or make the game downloadable so we can make various sequels. Oh and when your general dies, you shouldn't lose 50 morale points, only 25, and you should be able to attack enemies from the sides aswell.

I really liked this game. like strategy, like history, like medieval warfare ...
A more complex version would be really interesting: most types of units, variations in terrain that influence differently cavalry and infantry ...
The use of "taunt" I axei very different and fun. I loved the pick. The "battle formation" also liked a lot, but I felt limited when you have so many units together and can not control what the battle formation that I really want.
And the Vikings are the Warlords!

This game accompanied a TV programme in the UK about the period, it was amazing; it's available to watch at http://www.channel4.com/programmes/1066/4od#2928920 , but I'm not sure if it's available outside the UK.

I've spent a lot of hours on this game, really fun but as has been mentioned attacking from the actual sides and not only front-rear would feel more logical.

All you people who complain about the lack of levels don't seem to realise this is more of a history lesson than a game. The taunts are all insults which would have been used, and the three battles is what happened.

The taunting mechanic is a little random. I lost one battle just because the enemy got to take their turn before mine and taunted me to death. Still, this would be really good game if that were just tweaked slightly. Oh, and the Normans suck. 4/5

the game locks up for me too when I use archers. Would be a really nice game without bugs/compatibility under linux. One of the highest visual quality i've ever seen tho in flash...

almost won one of the battles after awhile, and my army charged to attack but never attacked and just charged off the screen :|

I had over 1000 people they have less than 100, I went to attack and all 1000 of my guys fled because they were taunting me. Thats the dumbest thing i ever saw

Wow... it's about 1 year when I played this game the first time. What took it so long to get on Kong? And the game is still just awesome, 5/5.
