i dont think that there should be a pause or checkpoints, think about it, if it was a real war and you messed up could you restart? plus there is a altimeter on the top left. press plus if you agree

Ok, last mission sucks. I started out flying forward and got destroyed by a ship. The arrow was grey and on EVERY OTHER level grey is a good guy. This grey is a bad guy... Tried again and it's a game of luck because one hit by the gun and you are toast. But after a few tries I finally got it. Then you fight the airplanes, got past that, then off to fight some guns. Again grey arrow = bad guy in this mission. I get closer to the guns and boom i'm dead. I didn't even see them yet, but apparently they can shoot me down anyway. One shot one kill, ouch.
I don't have the patience to try to fight through the ship, then the planes then find out how to kill the guns and whatever comes next. Weren't bombs invented in WWII? Why can't I have any of them on my plane to drop on a ship or a anti-aircraft gun???

To all those people complaining of doing missions over, i think it's pretty fair, those pilots in real life didnt even have that chance did they? Besides I think it actually adds to the game to have to try to make it through the hard parts without making a mistake. I've myself had to start mission 3 over again like 6 or 7 times, and i ve still not passed it, so i know how you feel but we shouldnt rate it down for that reason.

There is a problem with multiplayer dogfights. There is often a phantom player one who is not active and prevents from starting game

What's the use of short bursts if you have unlimited ammo?:O
And... Make the enemy planes fly within the mission area please... Lost a mission because they were flying outside.

quite a good game, but I hate that germans pilots are like nothing you can kill them like flys. Also in the last misson someone says that there is nothing left of german airforce but why the hell I am then flying alone and fighting with 2 german planes like that I am a last British pilot. Also we don't know if Poland would be better under Germany. As far as I know people of Polands are Slavic and Hittler didn't like Slavic people much, well atleast there were a little higher then Jews.
If I don't count this quite a good game and with mulitplayer so 4/5.

WTF on level 3 after deafeating the wave 2 of bombers one of bombers/fighters got 33kft outside the mission box and the squadroun just went back and fourth

Much of the game is great and worth a 5/5. Unfortunately the one bad thing is the gameplay. Lacks checkpoints, and every reload you have to hear the same conversations again, and often fly a long way without doing anything. May be realistic, but it's not fun. Seemingly you can't pause, enemy crafts fly out of the mission area, and your squad often gets miles apart during each fight. Also on lvl 5 it's not clear from the briefing that you have to strafe extremely low (deck height). Stalls are realistic, but are annoying when they happen late in missions by bad luck. In short, everything around the game seems high quality, but the actual game still has lots of room for improvement in my opinion, 3/5+.

@atenos lol i think you flew upwards in like 5 sec if you do that you will fall down and you will get control back after 5 sec.

It's just that the engine failures make no sense. They don't happen when one of these planes would stall, say flying straight up for several secconds, they happen when you are just toodleing allong doing nothing... Otherwise a very nice game. Reminds me of Time Pilot.

DUDE this game is COOL but it would be rated each time 5/5 if checkpoints and no STALLING ENGINE i was just about to complete my mission and i fell down !
