great game. it is really frustrating to have to start the whole mission again after dieing. checkpoints would be great for getting rid of this problem. other then that, 5/5 for great commentary, awesome gameplay, and sharp graphics.

umm...i was doing "dogfighting maneuvers" in the tutorial level or first level or whatever and my three buddies crashed and now i'm just flying aimlessly...really really annoying and i dont feel like doing the tutorial level again since it's really slow and boring... 1/5

I hate it when I shoot an airplane down, and then I realize I have to go 5000+ miles in the OPPOSITE direction to shoot the other.

wish i could re view the story cutscenes... i was in the middle of one when my grandma told me to help her with somthing now i had to redo a stage to see it

no pause no checkpoints etc make it more real but i think that should be only on like a simulation mode or something and evry thing else has pause and checkpoints

I agree with the lack of check points. Great game, but I stopped playing because I don't wanna play the same mission for a 10th time

Mission 3: failed 2 times because of stalling into ground, 2 times shot down, another 10 times the mission just "stalled" and didn't progress. Fun game, but too many bugs make this incredibly annoying.

lol i was in the middle of a dogfight and boom my engine turns off and tip dont keep flying up for too long it turns off and you crash if you dont turn the engine on again but good game 5/5

@dantes555 ur an idiot if you think this game was going for historical accuracy so if you saw a movie that was "historically inaccurate" youd hate it? no i dont think so, so if u wouldnt hate that then dont hate on this

For the people who complain about the random engine failures, it isn't random it happens when you fly (nearly) straight up for a while. But I think they should have mentioned this in the instructions and not only warn you through sound.

I think that the reason the engine stalls is that you are climbing too steeply i.e. you are going straight up to the sky

i would just like to point out, that this game is historically inaccurate!! also, u cant have more strengthened guns because it was world war 2!!! they had the standard machine guns and that was it, also the first american intervention during world war 2, was in 1941 and was a convoy of supplies to england. NO OTHER HELP WAS GIVEN...... for these reasons i give a 2/5

everyone is right; lack of check points makes this game extremely frustrating; also, stalling seems unbalanced, especially since the enemy planes dont stall; a waste really, so much potential, and so well made; 2/5

wonderful game. a pause button would be excellent, especially as the levels seem long. A checkpoint would be helpful between waves.

@preston=accepted. zzcnick, this is not an educational game. It is just taking historical content and making a great game. and purdue, the controls are fine, and you just go to main menu, select campaign, and continue if you want to continue your campaign. I think the game is another great game by channel 4, and will give this game a 6/5 any day.

Can you add a way to lower graphics? Because all I got is an Intel Pentium M at 1.73ghz and 2 gigs of RAM and it's laggy as hell (damn laptop). Other than that, awesome game!!!

I gave it 5/5 because when you understand the game it seems easy. however some people just can't seem to get the game working for them. I have to confess tho. checkpoints would be nice. other than that great job. :)

add a health meter; it would be nice to know how much you can take still; add an option to change keys (not everyone has a qwerty keyboard); add a stall warning; remove the battle field limitation; add something like a key target pointer (I mean, they see where the bombers are ... so why not display it somehow?). Except for that a cool and fun game.
