A truly excellent game - however, as most of the comments say, there needs to be a checkpoint system. It's just too painful repeating the slow parts of missions.

@ thegreatkill False. Britain had replced its ENTIRE fleet of fighter airplanes every SIX weeks bcause of so much casaulties. The British (and in the fact the entire Allies') way of winning the war was outnumbering the Germans (and Japanese). The German aircraft were superior in every way. Would like to note also that the British planes only had enough bullets for FIFTEEN seconds worth of time to shoot.

Even if there were more planes on your side. There would have to be many more enemy planes due to the fact that Britain was so outnumbered in the Battle of Britain

I don't know if this is a glitch, but a nazi pilot is a full 20,000 feet above me right now, and he's still climbing.

Checkpoints is the only thing this game needs, other then that grate gameplay,storyline and graphics 4/5 (get that check point and its 5/5)

No German campaign - boring.
I can play stupid allies in every damn ww2 game - why would i play 'em even on flash ? Geesh, is it so hard to make something more original ?

I don't care how nice the graphics are and how historically factual this is. It's a poorly executed game. A shame, but that's how it is. 2 stars. Designed seemingly for frustration and lack of information. We're not pilots, we don't know what causes a stall. Oh and if you force the laws of physics on me (stalling), be fair and force the bad guys to follow them also! I don't want a simulator; show me more clearly who the bad guys are. Just poor, poor execution.

a couple things its needs:check points, a health bar, co-op story, a warning to pull up when your too close to the ground like when your too high, other then that 4/5

I think the only thing(s) this game needs is/are more helpful ally planes, and a like, a "throttle bar", as andyhu said, that shows how close you are to stalling. Pause and checkpoints would take away (some of) the challenge, and also make it EVEN LESS realistic. XD Its on a computer for gods sake, it can't get much less realistic than that.

Absolutely brilliant game... until the first mission with fighting the bombers bugged out and I couldn't progress (just flying around with nothing to do).

screw it, I literally spent over an hour trying to beat stage three. and for what ever reason if be engine out, or shot down, or flying straight into the ground it's just a pain in the ass, not to mention time consuming to start at the beginning every single time. it's just too much to keep your eyes glue to the screen without being able to pause. it's a shame for such a great game lack key feature that totally create a bad experience for the game. especially now when flash games (shit) are thrown at you left and right, it's a rare find for a game such as this to come our way. I hope you reconsider an add the checkpoint and pause features soon before must of us lose interest. thank you.

ill check back on this game later. I usually figure things out easily but I do not know what to do in the first mission once the enemy shows up. I chase him and I run out of the playing area. I stay with my squad and nothing happens. What am I suppose to do?

I agree that it would be more playable with smaller, bite-sized chunks of game, but I was just getting over the lack of pause, the long level re-dos, etc, when I was chasing a bomber and left the mission area... thus failing the level. Again. Was 5 stars until then. Now 4/5.

There needs to be a way to start if a person on multiplayer wont ready up because it puts you back in the same game with that idiot over and over.
