Seeing your Tribesmen visually evolve would be interesting, as would seeing the territory you control, and having the ability to interact with different tribes.

Damn this is nice, except the fixing of auto-clicks. Haven't played a game this good in ages. Put a bar for the 'fixing' of autoclicks. Also I don't remember how to give developers kreds for some reason.

I don't know if it is just me, But i get a lot of lag playing this game. But I will still keep my rating of 4 stars. Just if its just me sorry for commenting but if lots of people get lag fix it please.

Update: after a few turns, my food production went to minus. My gatherers produce -1.2 food, and my hunters -1.6 food per turn. Note, I did surrender to barbarians several times.

Update, after a few more turns, my production is set to 0 - gatherers and hunters produce 0 food per turn. This happened after I joined with some nomads. I got 2 people, but fully lost food production.

I am now playing my third time on chieftain and at some point of time a strange thing happens: without announcing an ice age, my food production goes down. This happens for a few turns in a row, destroying the food production fully. For example, my hunters, with trapping researched, produce 0.8 food per turn per hunter. This should be around 4 food per turn, so it seems this was like I had 3 ice ages, stacked.
This happens now third game in a row.

I'm not sure if it's possible to lose this game as long as you try. One thing is for certain though... my population now is nearly double with the population max is.

great game but i kept getting found by nomads and i want POP so i went with join them but then lost my entire tribe of people besides my workers in the apple field and miners in the sahara PLS fix this!

You really need to adjust the formula for the amount of culture needed. It escelates far too quickly. My previous research point required 1.6 million culture, the next one requires over 2.3 million. I'm producing 26k culture/turn, despite ridiculous efforts on Piety. That means it'll require me almost 100 turns for the next research point, while the one after that will likely require somewhere between 150-200 turns.

Maybe, there should be other ways to win... and possibly, another evolution. Maybe, there should be a way to win if you evolve into modern humans before 10K or something... And a possible evolution before Homo sapiens could be either the Neanderthals or the Cro-Magnon (80% culture bonus.)

awesome game, gj guys. still, it becomes a bit too static in the endless mode soon. perhaps more events could help. cant wait to see the sequel civilization to launch a spaceship =)

Would be nice if you could specify a certain number of people to be used for food production in general and then it would dole them out for maximum production instead of having to move hundreds of workers to better sources when you get the research for it.
Also a button to minimize food production for when the population cap is reached.

Its nice to see game that isn't about grinding and upgrades. Time constraints put a real focus on the important of what moves you make. Nice job. Looking forward to the next one.

100 turns to beat a game no matter the difficulty level is just not enough, maybe 200 or 300 would a higher game rate.

Lol once you get to about 5mil in culture points it goes wonky and starts giving you tons of Culture and research points.....

Best I got was Deity, Turn 90, score of 9557. Got lucky with random events, skipped fishing and went for hunting + agriculture. If you research both types of agriculture, they stack - giving you one of the best food yields and the inarguably best volume.

so apparently you can win the game WITHOUT worship. also, apparently, homo hergenderbalis can build a palace just as good as homo sapiens - because i beat the game with homo hergenderbalis on turn 13 - the turn right before i evolved into homo sapiens. so yeah. also, apparently, alligators can massacre 114 people even when their mobility is slow, their their allertness was low, and their number was few. i mean, i know alligators are really tough but thats just impossible. plus, i only had 90 people hunting in the savanahs. can somebody tell me what's going on here?

Strategy:
Keep Threat on 10% (+- 2%).
Focus on Food and try to max your population as soon as possible.
On the right Research Path only take Fishing.
On the middle path only production.
Get Worship as soon as possible.
Only build the first two buildings.
