Also If you dont feel like continuing the game its fine, im sure most of us would rather see this game end strong then be forced to be longer and something that it isnt, i will still look forward to any updates or future games.

Nah, we wont be removing the map. I was just pointing out that its the "finite" nature of world conquest that makes this game seem like something other than an idle game. Most idle games have no ending. You just keep buying more and more and earning more and more. Our game is the same way, but it appears to have an ending since you run out of countries. Its a perception thing.

Really didn't want to join the queue of people complaining about update, but with the time this is going on and knowing the update is little more than a visual novel with no actual content, I really hope its enough to keep people interested in playing. I'm nowhere near scoreboards but can still conquer the world in around 5 mins and losing interest fast. I'm not sure how I'm gonna feel about this novel if I'm gonna get through it in 1 single playthrough.
Yeah, the world conquest thing was a mistake to include in an idle game as it gives a sense of completion, instead of just an endless grind for more money. We know that now. Next update conquest speed will no longer be linked to dark knight numbers and instead depend on Catherine's mood, so that should fix the pacing a little. But there is really no solution besides removing the map altogether and making it just a normal money counter watching idle game like all the others =(.

Touria, for all it's apparent map size, is apparently a country of near-infinite size and wealth(200+goldmines? 200 castles? 200 cathedrals; not even churches, but the massively extravagant cathedrals?). Unfortunately, your opponents are similarly near-infinite. Your next door neighbour is running with, at a guess, 250,000 fighting men, and it gets crazier from there.
There's a story to be told here, I think.

I'm sorta in the same boat as everyone else.. Been waiting to reset again until an update comes. Being that this is a one-horse show, I expected these sorts of delays. I at least have enough to conquer the world after every reset, so when the update finally does come, I can play it.

About to jump ship.. promises of updates.. dev goes away, comes back says "couple of days" for the long awaited update. "Couple" would be 2 days, not a week. I would have thought you learned your lesson about getting you fans excited for something you can not deliver on the first time.

Holy cheeseballs. I come back after two months of waiting for my computer to get repaired, and I produce about 115 million dark knights. Definitely time to do a dark knight reset :)

@isaac2142 - they work. It speeds up the progress bars. Check your income levels to see the difference if its not obvious visually.

if you left your browser open over night, chances are that your computer went to sleep. this 'freezes' the info. BUT if you refresh the page then you will find that everything was still working in the background. so don't worry

For some reason I do not have an achievement button, and I haven't done the math, but accidentally left my browser open over night, and it seems like the active gains are less than the offline gains. Just wanted to mention something, in case there is something wrong.

I@AJStarhiker I did the dark knight reset and it said like 36mil or something like that and when i reset the dk number was 0 :/

@AyrtnO- When you lost your knights, did you use the Dark Knight reset (what you're supposed to do to get them) or a hard reset (Wipes everything)?

@ayrtonO You have to do Dark Knight reset in order to use them. You keep all your achievements and get a fresh supply of Dark Knights.
