OK... so i went to take over the first country and it took forever... I had 1.8m troops and way over the power and it made both of them 0!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yall need to fix this!!!
Just tested, and confirmed working. Press Accept on the battle scroll and all your troops will return to you minus the ones lost and those left to defend the country. Thanks for the feedback!

With everyone calling Dark Knights DK, I always think of them as Donkey Kongs. It feels a lot more awesome to take over countries with millions of troops led by a horde of Kongs.

1. Does Dark knight affects the rewards on the conquered City?
2. It seems like once the achievement is gotten, if we restart the bonus will still be there right? Because for me it doesn't increase anymore.

@YOTSUBA83 I'm sorry, but that's stupid, why do we have to consider logistics, troops movements, terrain, fortifications etc. in a game?
I don't want a war simulation, if i wanted that i would play another game...

The kingdom is peaceful, maybe too peaceful. What if we had random encounters, a boost, discovery, anything? If you threw in rebelling countries (that can succeed) in there, you could keep the game going even after all the countries have been "conquered."

Just to let the Devs know, Chromebooks block the Unity Player--so that means someone needs to make a version compatible with them......
Sadly I do not have any control over their web player. Definitely should go complain to Unity themselves though since compatibility is kinda what Unity "prides" themselves in so this is a little ironic :P ~Taiga
Don't worry, we have lots of new content planned. I don't want to just increase money gained for what we already have and call it a day. No... I have new and fun things planned for people to gain content that will break the mold of standard Idle Game stuff. Meaning you will be able to gain money by undertaking 'missions' and buying money making stuff inside enemy countries conquered. This is why I haven't hurried to increase army power gains or gold gains and what not, I'd rather add new content to help balance things than to just add to what's already here. <3 Taiga

I feel that having overwhelming numbers and army power in a battle should make the enemy country lose faster. It makes very little sense for eight million soldiers to struggle against less than a million soldiers.
It's medieval combat so there isn't like massive explosions or anything. Please consider logistics, troop movements, terrain, fortifications, etc. We won't make combat faster unfortunately as we feel the speed of combat and the troops lost at the end are very reasonable. From a realistic view, we should have you wait several days for troops to assume formation, your strategies to go into place and any war machines to setup. For real combat, causalities can depend on how heavily fortified the enemy is. Even if you have 8 million more soldiers, well defended castles will make your losses high. Also assume you are attacking the WHOLE country, not just one battle, so you'd be leaving troops behind to garrison stuff and what not. We didn't want to over complicate our battle system, so from a realistic perspective, 10 minutes or even a couple hours to take out a country is unrealistic, be thankful we didn't make it realistic cuz still be waiting for Astrila to be conquered days later :P

i agree dks made should affect dk production even if its just a little bit because otherwise your going to end up slowly improving because 100000 dks every couple days will barley increase your production rate like i just reset for 150000 dk's and it only increased gold at level 200 by about 150000 this is just a guess. For the achievements in order to build 900 would take quite a bit money

Just an idea, but it would be fun if you could use altars to sacrifice your soldiers into DK's. Now the soldier production is pretty meaningles before you can conquer a lot of coutries so that their production actually has any meaning. That way you could almost eliminate the armypower if soldiers would be used to produce DK's and allowing the conquering of more lands would increase their profit. I personally think that AP is the worst thing in this game, followed by the fact that economy and upgrade tabs have the same picture. I want more pictures of her.
This is a good idea! And it shouldn't be too hard to implement. a good way to balance out excessive troop production with slower dark knight production. i like it! +1

Altars are soo expensive after level 200 :( and we cant boost darknight production with aldready owned DK ? Even a little, should be interresting...
DKs are a powerful boost, so their gain is controlled. If you manage your gold production wisely you can still amass a great army of them! We will be adding upgrades for the altar as well when we have more playable content and a reason for more dark knights! Thanks for playing and giving your feedback!

Suggestion: some crossing over between the gold achievements and troop achievements. Ie; 2nd arena achievement also grants a bonus to market. Mixing this up a bit gives players more path options and also makes the troop buildings more important (they're currently extremely unimportant). Another suggestion is when you add the option to upgrade countries, instead of using gold as the currency, use troops. So more troops stationed at markets in that country = less thievery = 25% gold efficiency. Troops stationed at border = +25% country gold gain because people feel secure to spend more etc etc. Also I still want to overthrow Queen Catherine and one day you're going to open the game to fix bugs and see me as king sitting on her throne. It's good to be king.

Appears to be a bug when saving. My last run I had accumulated quite a bit so therefore was able to proceed forward with purchases/upgrade etc. However all of that is gone even after forcing the save in options. Disappointing.
Can you PM me a little more information? We take all reports of data loss extremely seriously. I need to know your OS, browser version, as well as what security settings its at (one theory is that it may be related to security settings preventing the save write to disk, or something along those lines). Sorry for the error! We continue to try to aggressively hunt down any and all sources of data loss!

I've only just conquered the second territory, so what I'm about to suggest may already be implemented somehow, but I'll share my thought regardless: I think there should be a sort of defense mechanic where a country's loyalists might incite a rebellion and the only way to maintain control of the territory is by ensuring your military presence in that country is sufficiently high. Maybe by building military outposts and fortresses and sending troops from your mainland to garrison said outposts. Just a thought.
Great idle game regardless and now that the performance issues have been resolved, it's one of my current favorites, 5/5.
We are planning a way to make countries far more interactive. including upgrades, and potential rebellion. Although this has to be carefully balanced and tested to make sure its fair! Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for playing!

First very good game! but i have little problem : i have 9,679,00 dark knight is cool and i have 91,928,00 in bank... i click reset button dark knight and i loose my 91,928,00 i begin news game with 9,679,00 is not cool!
I don't understand the problem? The altar generates dark knights which are granted to you on a reset, which sets all gains except for achievements back to 0. however you now gain far more gold per cycle with the dark knights and can get back to where you were faster.
We were originally trying to keep things simple, but feedback has shown that you guys want more complexity, minor UI rework coming at some point. Right now we are busy with yet more little bugs that cropped up that need fixing. hopefully by tomorrow we should be back to work on the actual content!

You should be able to "Garrison " troops onto countries under your control in order to upgrade their output and if its eventually included prevent uprisings

Could you try and purge all traces of game controller input for your game? I'm the crazy control group with six strange gamepads, and the game acts wonky for me.

defeating an enemy country shouldnt take what feels like an hour to conquer when your troops are measured 16:1 and army power is 3:1
I have outclassed them in everything.. it shouldnt take 10mins for 150mil troops to kill 5mil.

I think conquering countries takes too long - the speed at which you kill the enemy troops should atleast be based on your army's power.
We may implement something like this in the future. Or perhaps allow you to send nothing but dark knights to fight for very fast victory, but the chance of loosing some knights, which will impact your production bonus! Nothing is set in stone yet because we are still busy addressing some lingering glitches and issues. all that should be cleared up by this weekend hopefully and we can start moving forward!

Maybe I am missing some important modifier(s), but the gold gain in this game currently seems very slow compared to troop gain, considering gold is used for 3 resources (buildings, upgrades, attacking countries), while troops/army power are only used for 1.
I have been emphasizing gold generation (and dark knight production) much more than troop production since I started, about 3 1/2 days ago. I have reset 3 times, trying to hit achievement checkpoints and a decent mass of dk's between each reset.
I'm sitting on about 200k dk's, 400 achievement on farm/market/goldmine, and still find myself waiting a LONG time for gold to slowly filter in so I can attack countries that I have long since passed the troop/army power requirement.
We are currently looking at an issue related to some achievements not giving the proper boost, once thats resolved we will see what the proper pacing looks like and make adjustments accordingly!

It would be better if there is something else we can do with troops other than conquering countries.. ..Declaring dictatorship? Martial Law? ...Maybe introducing tax increase.. That sort of things. Otherwise.. At this point, with low return from the countries, not much of use. Or used to upgrade the countries conquered instead of gold.. ...Does wonders, although national moral or something like that would go down..
..Depends on what you implement, I guess. :}
Will be adding other concepts for troops soon, including an altar sacrifice option, and perhaps a way to upgrade countries with them. Not 100% sure on that last one yet! Thanks for playing!

My 11 million troops take 5 minutes or so to kill their 500k. Wile loosing 2.3 million troops myself. I see no problem there O.o

jrslayer, i think your playing the wrong game, this game has no DPS, some buildings make gold others troops others both. dps is in some idle games, not all ^_-

when I reset, my achievements were still there, but do those achievements actually do anything anymore, or do I have to get to the next tier of achievements in this playthrough to actually get a benefit from the achievements?
There is an issue at current with the background math for a few of the achievements that we are trying to fix, Also making a few adjustments to the way things work in the process. Rest assured that we will not release a patch until we are sure of 2 things: 1, there will be no need of a hard reset, or data loss because of the change. and 2, any achievements you have already earned will still be there, and will give the proper boost! could you show the dps (damage per second) to know which is the best to build or something... its a better number then the damage by different speeds of the buildings...
This happens to a few people for some reason =/. Unfortunately its not something we have control over, as we have discovered no way to reliably reproduce it, or have any influence over it in code (since the player has to actually load for our game to even run line 1 of code). We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you could send us some information in PM, we can forward it to Unity Technologies as a bug report and hopefully speed up the fix! primarily need OS version, and browser type/version!
Yes! That actually was going to be our next addition but an annoying math issue was brought to our attention and an actual internal problem was discovered that we need to fix first! Expect it soon!

When I dark knight reset it says each dark knight gives .01% but in the instructions it says .0001 Which of the two is it?
Both are true. The math is +.0001 to the multiplier, which is the same as .01%. But I forgot to change the instructions. We have it showing .01% cuz it looks better than .0001 :P ~Taiga

You did a dark knight reset and not a hard reset right? I have an API submitting people's dark knight counts and it would show 0 if nobody was getting them after a reset. So this makes your issue curious to me. Could you give me any details? Are you sure you had more than 0 accumulated prior to resetting? It takes about 10 minutes after building an altar to gain some. ~Taiga
