All 3 of these games are great. I bet if someone gave ConArtist Productions the money and technology to produce a platformer game of The Last Stand Series, they could and would make a pretty badass and superb zombie survival game.

i absolutely love this game it has everything a good game needs. i think that it is awesome that they made a separate reloading sequence for each weapon instead of doing what most games do and make 1 reload sequence for all the rifles and 1 for all the pistols.the difficulty is perfect in my opinion, it is challenging but not unnecessarily so, just to the point that you need to now what you are doing and may need to try a few times but its not ripping your hair out frustrating. i love the diversity in the zombies whether it is shape size speed or clothing. overall its is a beautifully executed game 5/5.

While I do like union city ( a VERY different style than these ones) I do like the more strategic gameplay over the gameplay of Union City.

I would recommend that you do play the last stand three. It's fun, though nothing at all like the first two. I'm not sure if it will come to Kong though, it seems exclusive to armor games.

I'd actually have to say I like this one more than Union City. Either I prefer the defense and barricade style, or because I played Union City on hard mode since I thought it'd be more interesting with sleep and food involved. But both have their pros and cons.

These games are great, I loved both of them and this is a much improvement over the first, and I hope there is going to be a third because if so I can't wait.

this game goes against EVERYTHING in the zombie survival guide, single head-shot? NO A MILLION SHOTS ANYWHERE! zombies lack the dexterity to run? NO THEY CAN RUN! zombies are too dumb to use tools? NO THEY GOT SMARTER! the virus can only reanimate humans? NO DOGS TO! stay away from basements? NO BASEMENTS RULE! avoid urban areas? NO URBAN AREAS RULE! avoid automatic weapons? the buttons have gone on this game, reload glitches.. movement sticks all the time, i cant get past 2nd city cuz ov it all ... bummer man:(

Just tried playing again. The interface gets screwed up. The diary popped up in the background, and I had to click the X again and it went away. Then the day's events page popped up again, and I had more supplies. But then the travel page didn't register the supplies. It was just a mess, and I'm not sure how to describe it.
There was a night where my gun stopped working. Clicking did nothing.
This game is so buggy, that getting around the bugs is the biggest challenge. It reminds me of playing unlicensed third party games for NES. Or some really crappy computer games.

The "retry" option needs work:
* one time, after retrying, I lost a survivor.
* another time, after retrying, I acquired two survivors. But they didn't have guns, and I lost all of my backups and my primary weapon. When I "removed" my personal backup to give to one of them, it disappeared. I removed the other survivor's guns to put into my own slot, but they disappeared too. I had to quit playing, because I lost all of my guns and you have to have one as your primary weapon to continue.
There seems to be no pattern to how many supplies you need to continue to the next town. Twice, I've been allowed to move on to the next town, only to find out I had enough supplies to do so for days. You're not allowed to dismantle traps and take them with you before moving, which seems odd.
The game is so dark that it's hard to see anything, especially the guns. You have to click everywhere just to make sure.
This has the potential to be a great game, but is not ready for release.

@gothicpenguin this would be the sawn-off shotgun glitch? you will have to reload your game, as it will continue to mess up your weapons even until the next round, no matter what weapons you use.the glitch is also found in the first game.

I've played and beaten the third Last Stand! It's great to be honest and a lot like Fallout. Cannot wait to go badge hunting once it comes to Kong :)
