this game is truly amazing! all for the exception of the long load time. but the numbers of places to play in are the only reason i wait now.

The developers should really consider putting this game on a console, it would be a like Dead Island, but probs better.

imagine a xbox360 or ps3 game of this game :D i would play it 24/7. but the game would be 1st person shooter, it would be awesome

Great!!! Love it! Conartists, if you make another "last stand" game, could you make a sequal to this one? I love the way everything works, although it sucks that you can't trade your weapons for money (correct me if i am wrong), and (just me) it lags alot when tons of Zombies are here. *SPOILERS* I played the ending, I saw jack (the dude we played as last the last game)....he was awsome, gave me a epic weapon but I already had a dull katana (used it the entire time) and a sniper rifle (BEHOLD THE ALMIGHTY HEADSHOT!) so i just gave it to my friend...5/5 man, you never cease to suprise me.

I thank you dearly con artists for not making zombies come at you from windows in houses, i mean seriously i would be like WTF!!!! + this comment if you don't like anti-social zombies jumping through windows and dropping down onto you :)

I have played (and beaten) this game on ArmorGames.com, and in all honesty I'm surprised it wasn't on Kongregate sooner, I mean I had been playing it on there for 3 months now and it just now got on here. But any way, I'm not going to spoil any thing for any one, but I will say this is one of the few flash games that both excited and terrified me, and I loved every minute of it. In my opinion this is one of the BEST flash games of the year, and believe me that's NO exaggeration. This game more then deserves a 5/5.

I'm sure most people are aware of this already but just to bring it to light again. For those having issues with missing zombies standing right next to them and their melee/gun misses at this range, be sure to use the shove if you're cornered or just back up. I've seen a few people complain about this but I think it's actually part of the design to encourage use of the shove. It's not just there for an achievement. Can't really speak for the longer weapons having the same range as a knife though. Other than that, I had fun. Keep up the good work and hope to see companion swapping in safe houses. Maybe specialists like medics or melee who actually wear decent armor.

When I first saw that The Last Stand 2 was out I didn't want to play it, because how could it ever possibly live up to its predecessor, and I felt the same way about this game, but it seems my worries were unfounded. Conartists seems to constantly raise the bar on flash games. let us all lift our bloodied chainsaws in their name.

This game is awesome! I wish I could fullscreen though.
Side Note: I had to level my skill (pistols) to 101 for the "Level a skill to 100" achivement to trigger. :3

I found a SCAR-H - Lightened
Description:
"Special Combat Assault Rifle - Heavy Variant"
-----------------------
Wait... So shouldn't this be a SCAR-L?

The end game escaping from bridge is easy as hell. You do realise you walk slower backwards then forward? so just walk foward, dont even have to shoot or run. when the zombie catch up behind, you, he will do through his attack animaition and miss, because you have walked out of his range

Very fun game. But don't play on a laptop, unless you're good at laptop gaming or have long fingers. It's very hard to aim, move and shoot simultaneously. On a desktop, this game is absolutely phenomenal. Blunt weapons and automatics seem to be the way to go, because everything else is either too weak, short ranged or the ammo is scarce. Give heavy/special weapons like rocket/grenade launchers, machine guns and automatic shotguns to your companions. I haven't seen any noticeable difference between companions other than appearance.

It's an incredible game, and very addictive. But there's a few things that could be improved. I don't want to have to reload my gun after I use a melee weapon. The minimum range on some weapons has caused me to die several times. There's not enough room in the storage chest. Why is there no trading? Half of the "blade" weapons are uselessly weak, there's only 3-4 that deal over 20 damage. Why does a shovel do more damage than a mace? Some items/weapons are so rare, they're practically nonexistent. Why can't I run past zombies? The swarms of zombies near the end of the game are flat out LETHAL to anyone not highly skilled in automatic weapons. Kelly tends to get stuck in place sometimes - especially when running backwards, she nearly dies in every enemy encounter. They're only minor issues compared to the awesomeness of the game, but they can be seriously annoying. Overall, great job. I love these kinds of games, and I can't wait to see another.

One thing I like about this game is that when they say RUN!! you know you really should run. It has an actual infinite and unbeatable amount of zombies coming at you (unless hacks or EXTREME preparation or course), but it was a great touch. Laggy, but a great touch. I always hated games that said run! and you look back, maybe 4 guys chasing you. :\

@Nationality There IS a visual cue when lockpicking now. Whenever you go over a sweet spot the lock thingy jiggles slightly in addition to making a sound. It's definitely noticeable if you go over the spot a few times.

As much as I like this game, I really don't like that I regularly miss shots with a scoped rifle, long guns at 126, and precision at 20.

my biggest beef with this game is that I never traded... NOT ONCE! I hung on to all sorts of useless crap/weapons I didn't need because I thought I could trade it! Why is there a stat that "Helps with trading" if there is NO TRADING!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
anybody notice the note in hospital where a dude came in from GLENDALE, where the guy in last stand 2 came from? hint hint

A request... I usually play these games on mute. I would appreciate a visual cue when lockpicking, I'm sure deaf gamers would also be much appreciative.

I absolutely loved the game but there could be more stuff to it like for example the people that become you buddies should be more around maybe like buying them or something.
oh and happy birthday to my lil brother!!! :)

I really like this game, but as many have pointed out, there are a few annoying factors. To me I didn't like how I kept missing point-blank shots and sometimes the zombies falling through the roof just made the game tedious at times, especially if they pin you to the wall. Also, I didn't like having to 'replace' my companion with another one, whats wrong with having 2 companions? Also, as Darkaros mentioned, the storage at the safehouses is just too small. Its weird that a backpack can hold 80+ pounds while a footlocker can only hold 30.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have to say, I love this game but I hate the little flaws that stop it from being perfect. Why can your storage only carry 30 pounds of items when the entire point of a storage is to carry crap you don't want now but might want later? The "get random junk" quests are pretty much based on luck in finding the required things since you can't hoard items like in most games based upon infinite or "partly infinite" storage inventory. Also, why are companions able to perma-die? As in, even if you refresh the game, the game still auto-saves after your companion dies. I don't know, its still a great game, but it just bugs me.

Am I the only one who loses their shit when they hear the crumbling and the eerie violin?
Also, I love the game to bits but hard mode doesn't feel very.. hard. I still find ammo in abundance and food and caffeine pills are no problem at all. Is there anything you can suggest to make it more challenging?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hey, uh, this is a great game, and all, but I think something went horribly wrong somewhere.
I hit Hank with a grenade by accident (along with several zombies) but I think his limbs exploded or something and I can't revive him.
But when I try to leave the area it says I have to go back and revive him... sooooo

This is one of the best games ever on this site. Very good! The ability to "search" everything pretty much keeps you glued. So glued in fact, that you get spooked and jump when you hear the zombies breaking through the ceiling coming for you. 5 Stars

ok soo ive passed by like 50 beds that i cannot sleep in. whats up with that? makes it extremely difficult to find a place to rest in hard mode. but i still love the game. jsut wish you could fix that.
