A few suggestions:
- Add a different colour for the damage zombies inflict on the player, so that way it will be easier to get the idea of how much can the player sustain;
- Display the critical chance with melee weapons;
- A certain time after searching, some containers, shelves, fridges, etc, could have new items again. This is to prevent a possible "run-out" of food.

to save your companion, defeat all the zombies and save your game then exit and go back in u'll have ur partner back but if u die before saving ur partner u loos it if u die when ur partner is not injured select start from out side i do it all the time, yeah its a long prcess but at least u still have ur partner try is sometime

@beastninja, yeah, I've had this glitch, across a lot of flash games. I'm pretty sure it's caused by your hardware, and not the game, since I have a new pc and haven't gotten it more then once since.
Anyway, if you press the direction you're moving, it seems to stop.

Just one thing i reported a missing badge and i played throught the whole entire game again but i still didnt get the badge so what now?

The game was good overall, but it really needs some polish if you make a new one. Some of the controls didn't work, and the tutorials were obvious for things easy to find out (use A/D to move), but not-so-obvious for things like how to save your companion (which, as has been mentioned, doesn't work at the moment). Still, entertaining.
On a final note, is it just me, or is melee a much, much better choice in this game than using guns?

hey, people who hate to lose your partner listen up. Just hit the escape key save and quit then go back on the same file and there u go! partner up.

Lol, while trying to scan the QR code on the wall of the clothes store in uptown, a horde jumped out of the ceiling and almost killed me. =D I managed to scan the QR code, it led to the same page as the link on the paper, pretty cool.

guys dont tell people about the companion glitch !!!!! the developer may fix it !!! post it on some forum or somewhere safe or just let them find out their own !!!! COZ I DO NOT WANT SUCH A GOOD GLITCH TO GO AWAY !

I was in a house and this was my first time. All the sudden...BOOSH!!! A hole is in the ceiling and 2 zombies attack me. It scared me so much I screamed,"MOMMY!"
