So I came back to play after I saved and quit, but the "Continue" option is grayed out and I have to start a new game.... What kind of shenanigan is this?

Squirl00, I have had the same thing happen to me, I have started three new games, each time I leave and come back later my save game is gone.

I started playing yesterday and got to lvl 11 saved game and logged off. I came back to play and the "continue" option is now greyed out, only start is available. I don't want to start over, how do I get my game back? Is this a regular thing? If so should I even bother to play this game?

I was playing this on Chrome, and it wouldn't save for me either. I switched to Firefox and the save worked fine. This is probably the only time I'm ever gonna say this, but try a browser other than Chrome, and save might work. Do not use Internet Explorer. I don't care if the save works on explorer. Don't do it.

Great game. Too bad it freaks out if you have more than 2 zombies on the screen. And you can't revive companions. And if you run from a zombie horde they'll follow you to the ends of the earth.

there is a problem that needs to be addressed here and its ignored, for some people, like me, the save system does not work, and when they post a comment saying it doesn't work they get downvoted and the problem stays...i would love to play this game but can't, please fix it.

There's a new The Last Stand now, though kongregate doesnt seem to have it. The Last Stand: Dead Zone, I think it was called. More of a time management. Pretty fun.

We need this type of multiplayer game. (The last stand: dead zone is fine but...i sort of like this more than the top down things. This is more action packed...without turn-based elements.)
