With your companion on the screen, save and quit. Once you resume, your companion should be back up and continue to follow you.

GAAH!! i seem to have lost my well-earned badges from playing the game a while back! i know character saves can disappear when dropping cookies, but my precious badges??! plex, give them back to me! they are all i have!! Ó,ò

I go charging at zombies with a sharpened Hatchet and I rarely die. In fact, the only weapons that have better damage I have found is RPG and Scoped hunter compact Rifle.

I liked this game. Up until I realized that a sniper rifle was missing 2 out of 3 shots at 100 long barrel or whatever it is. Or shotguns missing where there'd be no way the buckshot could scatter that wide. I like how it tried to mimic fallout. Too bad the skill system is clunky and barely changes anything. Not to mention a stray click can delete that gun you just spent all your money on. Or the companions keep glitching and the only way to revive them is to save and quit but if you die too now there's no way to get the companion back.

also i left the port level and after that NO NEW LEVELS were unlocked, even though i took ride on hilter and kilter for a quest to open a new area, no content much? i got past the dam-like bridge only to see no further content and which means i cant get the game completed badge like everyone else, shouldnt there be auto-accepts for main quests incase this DOES happen?

WAIT, armor and clothes are 2 different things: WHY SHOULD A KELVAR VEST (military might i add) OFFER 0 PROTECTION when it has a weight of TEN+? why even keep armor if its just basically clothing over clothing on a new quip label? i unlocked 8 chests to find that at the most end game levels only for it to be a decorative pile of sh)t wasting inventory space?!

@tercen, A feature was going to be added where any clothes increased damage resistance, but it was cut, along with the kevlar vest protection. Go see it in the last stand wiki. :p

@incudragon666, ik dat. i was just havin a little joke. also, it doesnt have to be ina building to get a horde attack. It can be out on the streets, believe it or not. If u hear the warning in the streets, they usually come from the left side of the map. Every 1 and a half hours( not in real time, game time, about 15% tiredness gone.

@kriptickorp13: THATS CALLED A HORDE you spend too much time in one building and they WILL give you hell! they dont apply realism to this game SO YOU SHOULD OF EXPECTED THAT! go farm some ammo on the first level why dontchya and then come bac after getting mo' guns, wuss, i got a sharpened fire axe ya have any idea HOW RARE that is to get from a "zombag" i dont think ya do? that baby can one shot almost anything, so be grateful you arent the one who dies 24/7 like me.

plot and gameplay was all good. But freaking lag at the end pissed me the fk off. Got killed several times because of it.

A good tactic to conserve food carefully in survivor is to put it all in the storage. One can keep stuffing it with food and then justhelp themselves. This conserves food well and helps if food is scarce.

everyone rate up on this if your companion goes down don't bother moving on just save and quit then reload the game and the companion will be alive
