Under rating threshold (show) I liked the game, but it is a total rip off, of a much older game that is exactly the same, only chaging the graphics! Even the commands are the same

Under rating threshold (show) I liked it probably becouse i am a programmer and I agree - lvl 10 is harder than any other.

Under rating threshold (show) Another thing that needs improving is the highscores do not work. Also whats with the gigantic jump in difficulty from level 9 to level 10? It goes from extremely easy to completely impossible. Level 10 might be good as a final level or a bonus challenge but it does not belong right after level 9. Overall this is a good start but it needs more work before I'd call it a finished product.

Under rating threshold (show) Good game but I'd also like to see some save games. I'd also recommend allowing the user to double click on a command to have it placed in the next free space of the main method. Saves a lot of dragging and dropping.

Under rating threshold (show) Nice game but it's missing some basic gaming (not programming) functionality like a level select, save progress so you don't have to repeat levels, ect. 2/5 because it's lacking this basic stuff.

Under rating threshold (show) Where is the scores?!! I complete game using 200 commands but I can't compare it with other's values and so I even can't ask myself: should I replay the game once again or not? :-)

Under rating threshold (show) \\ Although a save feature would be nice: IF $player[complaint] == "No save feature" { IF $player[intelligence] != "Smart enough to complete the game in a single sitting" { ECHO "You shouldn't be playing anyway."; QUIT; } ELSE { ECHO "Shut up." QUIT; } }

Under rating threshold (show) Cool game, but it was first done in one of the Dr. Brain games made by Sierra, I think it was Island of Dr. Brain. Also, none of you people complaining about the limit on the number of directives would have ever survived programming 30 years ago. Programmers these days are wusses.

Under rating threshold (show) Well... Unless jou actually play the game jou wont notice its not exactly like programming. The most notable differences seem to be that you have limited space and that it is possible to insert commands that dont chance anything(witch is great for function reuseability)

Under rating threshold (show) Lost ppl, if you seek a game that allows you grasp of conditional statements, iterations, and other such concepts look no further its already been developed. Its called "c++". Develop over the last few decades by intellects. This is the premium game and its free.

Under rating threshold (show) +1 for a save function. Hints would be good if the users are supposed to be children. On the contrary, more functions would be nice if the user is an adult (conditionnals, variables). Despite these advices, the overall concept is very good : 4/5

Under rating threshold (show) awesome-ish i think this a bit more spiced up like better graphics and stuff that 9-12 yr olds find amusing and it could be put to use in schools.

Under rating threshold (show) It is a nice puzzle game. I wanted to do something similar to this, but couldn't come up with a simple idea that works - such as this. People going on about "it needs conditionals" and "you wouldn't do this in a real program" - yes, well done, you've been to Mrs. Miggin's "Programming For Children" class. We're all very impresed. However, this is a game, and it needs to be intuitive and fun. If you can't see the inherent complexity and beauty in simple schemes, your keyboard should have its {}#() keys removed.

Under rating threshold (show) Beautiful game 5/5, but as a programmer it's disapointing that in order to achieve levels 10 to 12, you have to put useless commands in the program. Anyhow 5/5 !!!

Under rating threshold (show) This is a great game that doesn't need programming skills, just clear thinking and problem solving. Challenging and fun. I'm going to have to stop playing it though, until a save function is added. It really is a major flaw in the game to think that a 25 level game that becomes challenging quite early could be solved in one sitting. Please add a save feature so I can come back to this great game.
