How to make a real spaz bot: in main put function 1, in function 1 start out putting a jump, then 6 turn rights, then function 2, in function 2, put 7 turn rights then function 1

I'm sure a programmer would love this game. I like it too even though I'm not a programmer. Good insight and thought on the idea.

Yeah you really need to swap levels 10 and 12. In fact, 10 is so much harder than any other level its not even funny. Some more tutorials and using less-programmer-like language would also make the game more accessible to others. Also highlighting current actions/ allowing fast forward/ etc. This is a great game though!

Ah, this brings back memories. I used to have to program a guy like this for my Computer Science class. But mine was a little diffrent. He couldn't jump because it was 2D, so instead there were walls. And instead of lighting up the flore he would have to pick up bombs. And you couldn't put back a bomb either, unlike here where you can relight a square.
It was called JKarel. Anyone herd of it? Eh, oh well.
Anyways, 4/5

I gave it a 5. That said, a few problems.
1) The last level was painfully easy after all the other levels. In fact, only one level was difficult at all (sorry, forgot the number..probably 10 the way people are talking). I know I can do better than 194 commands, but I'd rather a more difficult game (and maybe a challenge/card out of it ;))

Ultra Spazbot Lite. Main: f1. f1:turn, f1. done.
That aside, great game, though it could use tons of improvements, most of which have already been mentioned. Save and tracking which action your on would be the most immediately useful. Also, 12 was easy, 11 was harder then 10 for me.

175 commands on first time - further length reduction is definitely possible. A simple, yet complex game with well-designed levels. 5/5

Beautiful. Sort of just a shell of a game at this point, but truly great. Add save/more moves/more functions/more obstacles, and MORE LEVELS. Oh, and 192, though I know where I could have saved at least a half dozen.

Very lacking. I mean great concept and all, but no save function, no explanation (I had no clue what the buttons did at first!).
You created a basic programming game. I'd love it if you had like 3 modes, easy medium, hard. Hard could be building an AI that could navigate itself through a maze. You could get into all the fancy stuff in programming. Now THAT would be great! 4/5

10 is hard. The game is still fun too, but maybe you can have like a shoot gun command or turn 180 degrees, or add a terrain peice like dirt, or water. Also it would be helpful if a light flashed on the command that you are doing while your program plays, so you can see what part of the program your guy is doing.

Ok. Level 10 definitely the hardest. 12 was a breeze compared to it. Completed with 195 commands.
Great game. Loved it. Agree that it could use a level select.

Great game! Have to say that I greatly enjoyed the puzzles and would like to see something a bit more complex, ie. recursion.
To those having problems, try to break down the puzzle into smaller pieces and then solving them with the functions and a number of main slots that is less than 12 divided by the number of times the functions have to be run to finish the whole puzzle.

hate these games that don't have any sort of save and continue feature. I usually only play kongregate for half hour at a time, not having a continue means its just pointless playing these games

My only complaint is that I find it a little bizarre that you require us to use the keyboard to advance to the next level, when you only need the mouse to do everything else. Otherwise, this is a great game, very unique.
