I'm disappointed in levels eleven and twelve. Level ten took a long time staring at the screen, and using logic based on the terrain itself to allow me to apply functions where only two of the commands actually did anything, because it was lighting blank tiles, and jumping when jumping wouldn't move, and moving when it would need to jump, but those two functioning commands helped me optimize and I eventually managed to get it short enough to fit the entire command.. Then level eleven was obvious, took me one try, and I didn't have to use five of my main program spaces, and level twelve was the same sort of "use one function over and over and over, with some turns in between." And as I hit the go button with a few blank spaces I saw a way I could have made it even shorter.

ok lemme try again:
What you just went through is the kind of logic programmers go through on a daily basis... I lol'd. If only programming were that easy... sigh

For level 10, I wrote one function that got me from the start square to a certain spot on the 'ridge'. I got the left-hand square first and returned to start by jumping down, using the first function to get back on the ridge and the other function as an extension of main.

This is a really, really good introduction to functional programming. No loops, no variables, only functions, and everything is constants. I enjoyed it, even though level 10 is KICKING MY ASS RIGHT NOW D:

LOL Level 12 was a cake walk, Level 11 just about killed me ;P
Now going to try the game over and see if I can pare down all those commands. Unfortunately, I'm NOT a programmer :D

Those who completed the game in 132 commands, can you tell us the minimum number of commands required to complete each level?

This is what I love/hate about programming... Level 10 - 20 minutes to figure out! Level 11 - TWO HOURS to figure out! Level 12 - TWO MINUTES!

If you love this game, you should try the board game Robo Rally! It is similar but multiplayer interaction/interference. Configurable boards, too.

I really needed help at lvl 11 after trying for a really long time.. and then lvl 12 only took me a few minutes :P I think lvl 11 should have been the last lvl :D

First try: 175 commands. I hardly noticed levels 1-9, they were just point and click without much thinking for me. But level 10 was indeed badass, I think it took me about 2 hours or more. And I am a senior programmer / software developer. Level 11 was the second hardest for me, level 12 very easy and took very few commands (I used f2 only to compress f1+f1).

Great and fun game! Good for brain train) 12lvl is rly easy. 10-11lvl much more harder.
Spent is about 30min and 191 commands.
