I remember playing this when it was released and having trouble and I don't believe I finished it, but I just played it start to finish without much trouble. I think it would be really cool if there was a sequel that required you to use broader commands to complete more complicated tasks, and rather than assigning each individual command you referenced command sets. Then there could be a level set that allowed you to import your game data from the original, and use all the command sets you made in this one plus all the main lines as their own sets!

This game is amazing! Interesting was level ten with all of the extra moves you had to put in f1 and f2. I like it! I rate it 5/5 for gameplay.

Completed with 179 commands. Great game, 5/5!
Strange, but level 10 is really harder than next levels. 12 level is really easy =)

I'm a programmer and I wasn't able to complete level 10, then I realized that my method was totally wrong and I completed it! The point is: if you completed that level, the next two levels will be easier for you and now you're really thinking like a programmer!

programmers don't have this much trouble because they have more options for working through this, the real geniuses can do this stuff with far less trouble then us because they know more ways to make stuff happen.

If only programmers would really think their programs like this!! Most programmers would use 5 subrutines in these puzzles because they dont have the limits to MAKE them actually think about being concise. Sorry about the rant ... its just a game ..... its just a game ...

My computer science teacher used this game as an intro to his class, he is teaching java. this game is suprisingly helpfull in understanding how programming works

Interesting concept. 5/5 for creativity and being an actually challenging puzzle game. I really enjoyed the function mechanic.

Level 10. Real easy once you rich the top of the stair case remember to turn left first not right. Then repeat, reach the top of the stair case and turn right the second time around.

Nice little game, but it's way too simple. In this genre (sorta games for programmers) Manufactoria is much more fun and presents a real challenge.

Anyone else think the robot looks like he's squatting to use the toilet each time he lights up? Anyway, here's a walkthrough for the game, which I used to solve Lv. 10: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WDXqIUXCp_8. I did notice a bug where sometimes when you tried to drag a command the game registered my mouse click a tiny bit after I pressed the button, so I sometimes ended up moving the wrong command. Another thing the game could use is what richpixel mentioned in the best comments, and that is showing the command light up as they are activated. It would also be wonderful if you could choose which stage you wanted to play, rather than having to go through in order after you complete the game. Because of these things, I only liked the game, so 3/5 Stars.

Oh, I remember playing this one a while back! I mentioned how much trouble I had to my computer programmer brother, and HE, of course, said he found the game easy...We both agree that it's a very fun game.

Just got quite fun when I realized you could put Function 1 into Function 2. If you're having trouble with the amount of commands you can have on a level, I'd recommend trying that.
