well... its short enough to be fun while repetitive
and the weapons are all the same .. well.. almost :)
but still - great mindless fun for a while - which is great for a flash game
but still... one thing i couldnt understand... what does the yellow dots do ?

This makes a great My First Flash Platformer, except the fact that it's the third in a series is a little disconcerting. All the weapons are the same, the button-spamming attacks are absurdly easy, and the "go here now go back now go back again lol!" level design isn't very interesting. Jumping should involve a little more user input--variable height and fall time, etc. The fact that there are level boundaries and you can't meet them with standard campaign play is terrible--I shouldn't have to stop playing, go kill some guys, and restart the level to finish the game. And the fact that I DO need to should be a documented a little better.
So it's a decent game, but absolutely nothing special or new.

[ Faster game play = Code: Looney ] [ Unlimited ammo = Code: Bin ] [ All weapons = Code: Rackem ] [ Level 20 = Code: Adiosturdnuggets ] [ Unlimited rage = Code: Prime ] [ Invincibility = Code: Trashly ] Copy if this is near the bottom

the best way to get exp, when you kill the boss get the purple balls and kill urself before it completes the level. you will have to fight the boss again, but you will keep all he exp. you can do it over and over.

nice game... however *jumping* was REALLY hard to get down when trying to get up some platforms (((tree branches))). Try a double-jump ability to help wit that...

great music, great animation, great gameplay. But you should upgrade some design. add more levels, weapon types, enemy types and maybe a story behind all this.

this game is not that bad. to improve it you should make the wepons diffirent. for example, some swords could give more strength but get less rage than if your using your fists, or the other way around... its your game and i think its good ether way

Pretty sweet. mindless stick smashing, level ups, explosions. Couldn't ask for much more...except maybe that there was a reason to use the different weapons besides changing the look.

Good animation and a nice, solid visceral feel to the game. Unfortunately, that whole experience is marred by terrible level design that requires you to backtrack, quit out to the menu, keep leveling up, and get go back and do it all over again. Repetition and backtracking are not good ways of artificially lengthening a game, despite what MMORPGers will tell you. Additionally, the combat, while fairly entertaining, is ridiculously shallow. I never needed a gun or rage powers, and only used the melee attack button over and over. Plus, as far as I can tell, there's no difference among the melee weapons. A nice idea, and one that I'd be tempted to say "maybe a sequel would show improvement", but considering this is Rage 3 already, my advice is to just go to a new game or get a level designer. As it stands, you've got some great animation skills, but it doesn't translate into a great game unfortunately. 3/5.

Some mindless fun (combat is simple), but it seems silly to have to quit a level in the middle and redo stuff just because I wasn't a high enough level yet.

As stated by others, the weapons don't really seem to have much difference at all. It'd be nice if that were fixed. I had a couple minor responsiveness issues, too: tapping arrow keys briefly sometimes doesn't work at all, and if an enemy's behind you, holding them down results in you running past him, giving him an opening to hit you. Would also be nice if jumping height/distance could be decrease by not holding down the arrow: it's annoying to have to make a full height jump (during which you can't attack unless on fire) just to go up a tiny ledge. Still, really nifty game overall, better controls than a lot of games, and pretty big and interesting. 4/5
