on lv 3 my guy cannot jump onto a platform is there some way i can jump higher than just pressing up (there are no springs by me the platform is only like one pixel to high)

Let's see... Every melee weapon seems to have the exact same combo, reach, and damage. Guns are either overtly weak or insanely overpowered. Hit detection with the bosses seems to be a coin-flip chance when dodging. You can easily air-roll through any terrain barrier. Oh, and it keeps informing that I've gained new rage powers, when all I seem to get is a slightly bigger explosion radius. And to top it all off, even though it's a dang stick game, it still manages to slow down decent computers even when it's set to medium graphics. How did this series make it past 1?

@IlanB: In my opinion you don't need to make a game to criticize. How many movie critics also make movies? Its a gamers opinion of a... wait for it... game.

Hey x24a2000 (and ito123456789, who just used ctrl+c, ctrl+v), instead of criticize this game, go make your own game, as good as this one, and then we'll talk.

its a bit like super smash bros in the sense that it has simple yet fun controls, and their both platforming fighting games.

Anyway nice game, but the level limitations are annoying and the game is way too easy. Still 4/5 because of the fun factor

Lots of rough edges on this game. Could be good if it was a bit more polished. The maps are not very interesting and because they make you go back and forth they break up the flow of the game. I though the differentiation between background and foreground could also use some improvement. I remember jumping off of a platform and floating by another thinking it was an element of the background. The weapon progression is also not terribly satisfying with each new weapon being pretty similar to the previous. The mechanics for movement could also use some improvement this game is supposed to be about flying around kicking ass we should have double jump, dash, wall jump not to mention corresponding attacks. I feel like this an excellent prototype for the real thing. Now go make the real one!

The second boss gets bugged if you shoot at him while not seeing him, he dissapears and exploding sounds can be heard

It's amazing how i'm going backwards in levels? How can I be level 5 and have the game finished? Obviously some major bugs.

Well started out ok, got to level 9 or 10 and then saved, came back later and loaded, was at level 6? What a waste of time.

i liked the game but think that the leveling system needs work as i kept getting stuck behind gates and no way 2 open them. im not 1 to play levels over and over just to level!

The very first Scythe weapon looks like a rip-off from Ren Tao's Quan-Dao. :DDD
At least, the attack movement is like his from a MUGEN game. :DDD
Or is it rather Sailor Saturn??? BWAHAHAHA!!! :DDD

adventure mode is 4/5 but because arcade mod is worse you will only get 3/5.... the corpse on the floor slow down the game and it isn't getting harder to kill the enemies (i were able to spare up 2k range and killed me because of being bored -.- )

3/5 because you don't get to level 6 at the 3rd map so you can't go through with the game, other than that it's great.

2/5 because, well.... it doesn't take a whole lot of imagination to make a game of...sticks... fighting sticks. Then again, 1/5 purely because of the second boss. I lost count of the number of Invisiboss+flame(?)breath ringouts.

It's really too bad this has no badges because it's a great game. Apparently I already got 75 kills at some point because I was awarded the ticket right away...don't even remember playing this.

Great game! graphics could be better and music needs to change up a little because its the same song over and over again. 4.5/5
