It seems they are trying to change Kongregate into a kind of social network instead of a gaming site, by adding WhatsApp-like stickers which broke the "gaming" functionalities. I saw this in other sites, such as Stack Overflow (they are trying to add a "thank you" reaction which is meaningless since there is already vote up and comments, and it is a programming site). Going "social" seems to be a fad among the CEOs, it is like they want to make things less "gamer-friendly" and more "normie-friendly".
I want levels, badges and kongpanions, not chat stickers!

I love how all the top comments are from today due to the broken Badge of the Day. If the rationale behind the blocks was to increase user engagement then I'd say that they have been a resounding success. I still want the bade, though. :(

Should they have rolled out Blocks without testing it better? Apparently. But this is a lag issue and it's only been a few days. People are already running around claiming it's the end of the world and blocks have "broken everything" and such. Get a friggin grip. It's annoying, to be sure, but it's not that big a deal. (Revert to pre-Blocks? Well, the site would work, but they wouldn't be able to figure out what's going wrong between small scale testing and full rollout.)

BoTDs/Achievements in general with Blocks are completely broken, Missing Achievement Report Link is removed alltogether... Do I sense some sort of a masterplan plot in here? :?

Nice enjoyable quiz, all those hours spent on Google Maps came in handy. But please Kong FIX YOUR API !!! (BOTD does not work, other badges do but if I refresh the page they all disappear... And where is the report link? :/)

Like a lot of people, I earned all the badges of this game a long time ago and my easy badge is not detected for the BOTD because of the "Blocks BUG". We can't even report a missing achievement. How do we report this?

So, just like everyone else no BOTD awarded! I'm not even sure if I already got the badge, and I'm too lazy to check, as it's highlighted as if I have but with a zero score and no award date... even better, when I go to report the missing badge it won't let me add the usual required screenshot of proof! I've replayed the game, even though I don't actually like it, so that I've definitely won the badge... now it just needs to be fixed. And as for Blocks, I don't even use chat so have no interest in stickers :/

This game really needs a full screen mode, even for cities I know where they are for sure I am often off by 100km because I can't get the target to line up PERFECTLY with where it should be as the map is too small.

Remember how, for the past few days, if you'd already earned the BOTD you just had to refresh a couple of times until the game coughed it up? I miss those days...

This is a horrible game, you need to be pinpoint accurate in a given country so even if you get it right your also wrong... 1 star

Goddamn man this blocks feature shit is pissing me off... Many times over the years i thought about being done with Kongregate but have decided to stick with it but if they are gonna randomly throw new and useless features like blocks and stickers in the mix, without even being sure the crp would work with existing features, to ruin the only redeemable thing about this site: BoTD, then I think im finally done with this garbage... ridiculous

Do not worry it is a cunning ploy to kill off Kong for good so that people can move to something else. There is no other explanation for adding stickers to a site of (let's be honest) mostly old guys who have no interest in them while at the same time breaking everything else
