Nice game - I like the originality. I beat it on the third try. Is it possible to ensure that cities are not repeated as the levels progress? My constructive comment for the day. :)

Well, nice game, unusual in the good way... And maybe useful for many people !
I get to level 7 on first try, didn't try again. Sometimes it's a bit unfair : I know I put exactly the good place, but it gives me a 60-100km mistake, whereas I'm sure I was like 5km ago !
Well, being European, a strong reader of books and international newspapers, and a student in history and geographics helps.
I'm so gooooooooood.

fun, good game.
But you really need to correct your spelling, because some of the stuff is spelled wrong, and it makes me click elsewhere.

@Draconophile ... that's why I have choosen to take a non spherical map. Of course it might happen that a large distance is not 100% correct, though I really tried to meassure all possible positions. Calculation the sphere distance is far from my knowledge actually.

@crafics
ok, the Traveler's IQ Challenge is way better than this, that I admit. You just basically ripped off a game from original makers... did you even give them credits for it? you should, if they find out, you might get in trouble.

Hmm... Well, the main problem here is that the distance calculator doesn't use a spherical model of the earth, so you can be much more penalized than you should be (imagine clicking hawaii rather than new caledonia). Additionally, some of the cities seem as though you used the wrong name (e.g. It's _Belmopan_ ), or foreign spellings. That said, it is a good game, and it is quite fun.

@iownyoualot ... that's simply not true! Please check again. Like I said earlier I have seen plenty of games like this .. The first one was a console game I played in 2004. One thing that is quite similair to the facebook app is the popup window. The rest is nothing new.

iownyoualot, if you dont like it, bad for you... in the facebook one u could only play this 1 of each 4 minigames... this one doesn't show u flags for it... (even it would be cool xD) and i think i've seen a lot of jigsaws, and if u tell me they didn't plagiarize the first one... -.- If a game seems like other, it's the quality what counts, and this game's quality is great

it's MENDOZA, argentina, not maendozea or whatever u wrote xD
Anyway, u got my 5 stars :) i love this kind of games ^^ and maybe it get's a badge :D

Is there a reason to stop after 10 levels? Why not just keep decreasing the time and increasing the required score to continue? Maybe after level 10 you could just give city names instead of city, country.

Idea isnt new (played a version of facebook over 18months ago) well put together, could do with attainable levels... too easy to do low levels, harder to reach higher levels... and quite boring to keep re-doing levels 1-4... Cant find the Stats bit...

I got Pearl Harbor... I could barely make out the dot that is the Hawaiian islands on the map let alone zero in on it's actual location.
