Under rating threshold (show) I can normally get to level 7 by myself, although I must confess that I used wikipedia to beat the game :P...Also, for those that are having trouble getting a strike, one of the easiest ones is the Faroe Islands, it's the really small dot to the northwest of UK and southeast of iceland.
