EzelMannen, strikes have the same multiplier as anything else under 50km. So the points pretty much work that way already. Strike just means that you actually struck the city, which makes sense.

got 1324 points on the first round, first time, game is pretty hard, I lost on the 4th level, gonna ask my world geography teacher to beat this game for me ^_^

Makashi, the whole point of the game is to learn something. It wouldn't be much of a game if it only used cities that you already knew.

how r u supposed to know some far away small town in the middle of countries i didn't know existed until 3 seconds ago. should put more wellknown cities but still good game. was a long time since i tried doing anything like this

It should be noted that the map doesn't wrap. If they ask for a city in western Alaska, and you click in northeastern Russia (the Kamchatka angle, for you Risk players) it'll count the distance the long way across the entire world. While such a mistake on the part of the player is rare, the game is conceptually simple enough that measuring the distance should be nailed down better.

The names in this game are the native spellings, not necessarily the Americanized or English version. So stop whining about them, people.

You are using a really bad map projection that is biased towards the northern hemisphere (look at where the equator is on the map, it is much lower than halfway) and the circles you draw are very deceptive as they are not circles geographically but circles on your projection.

You really shouldn't call Myanmar "Burma", that's a colonial name that only the British still use and it's rather inpolite

All the comments from ugly Americans in this comment thread are hilarious. Apparently, only cities in the US are famous. :D

COMPLETE bs that the 75-140pt zone is around 1/4 the map, yet anything over 300 is literally sub-pixel a lot of the time.
Oh and next time pick cities people give a f$@k about and put them in the right places? Obscureton, shitville is not something to put in round 2, if ever.

If the game's going to penalize you for not clicking directly on a city, it really should have the correct locations. Nashville, TN is east, not west of Lake Michigan and Indianapolis, IN is not directly under Lake Erie. It's bad enough that many of the cities are obscure enough that the best you can hope for is clicking on the correct country, but it's really irritating when you know exactly where a city is located, but the game docks you points because it has incorrect info.

This is an awful awful awful awful awful hard game. I personally feel I am a very cultured person who knows countries very well, but the scoring system is so biased, that unless you click within about 1/3 a centimeter from the "precise location" it only gives you about 120 points. The game more revolves around luck in hitting the exact spot so you can get the "300" or so points and advance levels since you cannot seem to get past level 4 (or 6 at times) in a normal game.
