Great game... I got to level 5 before the ever shrinking "green area" did me in. I'm sure to add this one to my son's home schooling lessons. 4/5 ;)

If you are going to present this game in English, you should keep all the cities/countries in English. Example: Moscow = English, what is in the game is not.

Bears some very strong resemblance to this game on Facebook:

I haven't read through all the comments, so don't know if that's coincidence.

Also: I think the screen not zooming is fine, it means you have to know precisely where any particular city is. @Spacejanitor, I have hit between 0-40km plenty of times. There is gradiation, on such a large scale map though that gradiation is mighty fine. I also see a lot of people saying this place is not spelled right or that place is incorrectly spelled, A few of them are incorrect, but many of them are spelled as they would be in that locale.. get over it, not everyone spells things the same in this world and you are not the center of the universe. Also I saw someone complain that this was ripped from a facebook app that was better, go check the one on facebook, this one is better hands down. If it is copied or not I do not know... or care.

@Scuzzlemeup999 and Heartstone -
I am from Chicago and America, I have a score currently at 23 on the all time list, I don't see either of you on that list so.. heh.. guess Americans can be just as good at geography as anyone else. A poll was taken of people who say offensive and overly generalizing things on the internet and 100% of them were shown to be cowards irl and knew to keep a civil tongue in thier head when thier ass had to cash the check thier mouth was writing. But yknow hey, any chance to bash what you are not so secretly jealous of right? It's fair. Tell us where you are from and where your high score is. ;) Be Well ;)

I like the game, but I think the accuracy of the pinpointing is slightly off. After playing a few times I've hit 0km several times, but never anything between 1 and 40 - I think it's highly unlikely that that's correct.

@Eclecto Wouldn't be too difficult, I'd just click around Ohio. On this map it should be small enough that just getting in the stateline is pretty close.
I like this game. I've learned about islands I never even heard of.

got to lvl 8, 11490. As I play, I start to remember. This definately needs a sequel that starts smaller and pulls out. This could easily be a very large game, and the grasping for knowledge is so addicting. I love this game.

@Eclecto: size isn't everything. locating Broken Hill should not be a problem if you've ever seen "Flying Doctors". Could you pinpoint Vatican City? It only has 800 inhabitants.

It's Edinburgh, not Edinburg. Otherwise seems fun, level 10 first try but don't think I can be bothered doing it again, the same things kept coming up every round.

It's fun and I like the concept, but there are definitely some cities that are way, way, WAY too obscure. On a whim I looked up Broken Hill, Australia, which the game asked me to find. Its population is 20,000. You literally asked me to find a city half the size of my hometown halfway around the world. I'd like to see how many Australians can locate Beavercreek, Ohio.
