lol this is more of a game of geo knowledge than anything else. i cant see why badges are given. not everyone studies geography. lol

Alright, ive just played ten rounds, and in all but one i have got within 20 km of the target city (US ones, which I know rather well, zooming in on the image to improve my accuracy). I have hence determined that if I ever get a strike, it will be by sheer luck.
Anyways, I quite enjoy this game. My geography is somewhat lacking when it comes to Central Africa and East Europe, so I have yet to get past level 7...

I hate this game because it requires an extensive knowledge of every country IN THE WORLD. That is something I do not have.

I think that I dont like this game... not that its hard (Which, when you never paid attention in school it is...) But it makes me realize how dumb I am, atleast in this area.

Don't be an ugly American. Achieve a perfect strike and complete all 10 levels in Globetrotter XL wtf thats offenciv just because we had a bad leader for 8 years dosent make us bad

Getting the wrong continent really makes you feel stupid. We need more games like this, educational, fun, and a good difficulty curve. 5/5

For those who really are unable to beat anything past lvl 6, try minibar sidebar... I know its kinda unfair, but at that point I assume knowledge isn't everything and on top of that, you still need quite some skill to select the "pan to address" menu item, copy the name and lastly correctly find it on the slightly different map. (Even though i used this, I still nearly lost the last level)

This is sorta of a rip-off of many other geo games I haveplayed.....giving it a 3/5 cause I'm in an unusually chipper mood

Loved it. Sure, there's a certain amount of luck involved for both getting strikes and finishing level 10 (especially once the borders get removed), but that's the case in many games and this one plays rather fast. Sooner or later (I think I played it for maybe half an hour) you'll end up with lots of coastal or island cities that are quite doable. Had the most trouble with China.

gardengnomes you wouldn't be able access Kongregate at school because of school blockers and anyway the computers there don't have the required Flash Player to play the games anyway.

There are a lot of haters posting on here about how this is too hard. Bull! Learn some freaking geography! I haven't gotten to level 10 yet, but I think with some time I might be able to. Anyone who ever watched "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?" should be able to get to at least level 5.
