Prior to my savefile being deleted, I was at hellstone 86. I forgot about it being deleted hence why I'm here, and now I'm not anymore, bye.

Building on what diabwolf posted about lv. 2237 being the highest you can mine, I've just confirmed that for myself. However, that's not the only limitation that breaks the game.
My pick has mining power in excess of 1.26*10^260 (most likely it's more than that, I can't see the rest of the digits when crafting one). The quality of the pick is bugged out as "Infinity%" even though I never messed with that. I can craft more picks just fine, but the game will sometimes freeze when I do so, presumably because the power is too high. Another downside to such a 'good' pick is that the game crashes whenever I manually click the ore. Auto mine still works all the way up to lv. 2237.
And finally, to Crovie. Sorry for cheating and breaking your game, but I wanted to see how deep the rabbit hole was. If I were to give one piece of constructive criticism, add an option for scientific notation for the huge numbers. All those digits become unwieldy in the end.

@jandg4206 it is because when you minimize it the game goes on "idle mode", whilist it keeps mining on "active mode" if the window is maximized/left opened anywhere on the screen.
Also, the chance of getting a better pick is given by both the average quality and the base power your picks have: let's say you got 1000 as base power and 100% as average quality, if your current pick has 10000 power you will get duds forever unless you're REALLY lucky and you will get build a pick which has more power than your current one. That because you only have 1000 base power and just 100% average quality, meaning you can basically reach picks with around 4000 power with a quality of around 300%.
+ bonuses also help getting better picks, but really: don't get mad if you craft dudes only without upgrading the blacksmith first. It's a math matter, you won't get any better picks randomly.

almost 31,000 gems and they were all duds...really? all of them? By the way I have mozilla and I've noticed that if you leave the game in a maximized window and don't minimize it, it mines faster then when you have it maximized or on a different tab in the same window rate up if this helps!

@lawlitsbri...Is your computer automatically deleting your temporary internet files/cookies, or set to not allow them? most saves for games on this site are stored in your temps, I think...

u need to go to right click ad go to settings to let it have storage room and do not clear cache tat will also erase stuff

I played all day while watching tv and I got SUPER far, in one day and it lost ALL of my game play.... And every time I click on the game it restarts. What the actual freak, man.
