well autoclick is based on damage/sec. I have 9.8 clicks per sec so its actual damage shown in my case would be (auto-click*9.8)-Defence

so, my auto damage is like twice the number of my normal click damage, but...it doesn't one shot something of a number smaller than itself? but the normal click does? WTF?

So I saved my idle money for a few weeks, came back and spent it all on blacksmith upgrades and doubled my pick's power. And it was good enough to advance 3 hellstones...this could take a while.

If you want to know the best material to mine for money, go to the ore with the highest Auto g/s. That way, your auto clicks deal the best damage compared to a weaker or stronger material.

this game seems to take more and more time to start and i am not able to do anything else while it starts (it freezes whole computer for about 15 secs atm)

Upgrade Blacksmith is exponential, but Auto-Click Power is linear. There comes a point where it's much more worthwhile to upgrade the blacksmith, even if it's many times more expensive than the auto-click, because an auto-click upgrade of less than 1% just isn't worth it.
