Why does the blacksmith get so much hate? Stop and think about how amazing your picks are for a second - you can one hit diamond thousands of times over. The poor blacksmith crafts constantly, trying to make impossibly good picks even better.. and all he gets is scorn.

okay hacked the game and it allowed me to "max" everything except for upgrade blacksmith which went on seemingly forever. I progressed through hellstone 1000+ till I hit a road block. Your game crashes when your blacksmith level gets too high. But it is needed to be high in order to progress because you can't upgrade anything else. ( of course the exception to this rule is having a high "active power" that would require life-times of computer replacements. Game is tarded

Max gem rate is where you kill the rock with one hit.
Cost of upgrades does get insane... I am now needing to use the date change "glitch" (save, reset to 2099, save, reset to current date, repeat) 10 times (850 years worth of offline cash) in order to get ONE blacksmith upgrade to try for 0.1% better chance of a better pick....
