why do people keep posting about the stroke of brilliance/flash of brilliance/vision of magnificence they are actually about 3%/5%/7% better than a standard pick, however this is only small relative to the power of spamming the craft new pickax button.

i got to the final set of stones in this game (level # hellstones) and my progress was completely erased. This game is a complete waste of time to anyone who endures through it. Thanks for wasting 14 hours of my life game, thanks.

To all you faggots who got their saves deleted, it must have been because of YOU deleting your cookies when you wiped your history by mistake... What are cookies? No, I am not talking about those heavenly things, they are basically save files

Should also be noted that it's most likely the money that's overflowing. Further estimation yields that an upgrade at that point would cost 3.4449 * 10^307. The amount of money I had at that point was 1.78 * 10^308. The hack was that each time you would buy something, it would instead add it to your money total. 2^1024 is ~ 1.7976 * 10^308. Also recommend capping at Lv. 1000 just for aesthetic appeal, on top of it being highly unrealistic for anything past that. You can no longer tell how much things even cost. How much money you even have is lost around Lv. 400. I would recommend putting higher abbreviations after octillion (Scientific Notation would be easier).

Playing a hacked version of the game, I have the game overflowing the power of the blacksmith when you attempt to upgrade at a certain point and crashing the game. This is at 2.52x idle power, 3x active power, and 1797% efficiency. This is effectively the max you can upgrade your blacksmith, putting the base power at ~3.2781 * 10^99. As a comparison, 2^331 is ~4.3745 * 10^99. I'm not sure if it's the money overflowing or the power, but something causes the game to crash, and this is when auto-clicks no longer touch Hellstone Lv. 1164. In order to reach Lv. 2237, you must do so via. multipliers.

Day 1:less than 6 hours in. Can pay off national debt. Wondering why this mine isn't under government control and wars have not been started over it.

I wanted to try something.... so While I was on L32 Hellstone, I reset ... It took a few weeks to get there. On the reset I'm only spending on Auto Damage, Better Pickaxe, more Inactive $$$ ... maybe 72hr in, and I'm just finishing FireElement... not great, but faster than the old method

If you're trying to farm gems quickly then mine rocks that mine instantly. Combined with improved auto speed and manual clicking you will get a lot in no time :)

You can't get to Level 2237, here's why:
At Lvl. 2237 the defense of the stone is ~10^179. This means you would need a total pick power of at least that (just to touch it). Assuming you upgrade your Blacksmith power to the point where a 1500%(or whatever) Quality pick will get the job done, accounting for all the multipliers and bonuses, you need $~10^518 to buy the necessary upgrades.
To get that much money you need to mine a Lvl. 2272 stone every second for ~10^207 seconds. This is longer than the age of the universe. In fact, it's longer than the universe is predicted to last (effectively).
In short, you can't reach Lvl 2237 legitimately. I will happily share the calculations if you would like a detailed proof.

Hellstone's stats are calculated each time you go to a new level. To calculate Hellstone's stats at any particular level, use this equation, where "n" equals the level: http://pastebin.com/vM49ptJN Do note, however, that it doesn't store the decimal, it rounds it (and I mean the "ones" decimal, not the decimal at the billions, quintillions, or octillions), so the farther forward you go, the less accurate it becomes.

For anyone wondering, Octillion is the highest "abbreviation" the game has and everything except Upgrade Blacksmith and the materials max out (at least, at any reasonable point). Everything maxes out at: (Blacksmith Skill - 130%) (Blacksmith Expertise - Lv. 10) (Blacksmith Efficiency - 50%) (Gem Waster - 454) (Manual Click Power - 7600%) (Gem Finder - 18%) (Auto Click Power - 4050%) (Auto Click Faster - 13.51/s) (Idle Power - 100%)

I noticed that the amount of AFK money you get is pretty much a % of what you would get if you were mining the currect mineral you are looking at with your current pickaxe. In other words, when you leave the game, make sure you are looking at the highest gold/second mineral you have.
