for easy gems all you need to do is go back to the highest one that you can mine in one hit. that way you get more gems and more money than mining poo

Tip for gettting a shit ton of gems, go back down to poo click like mad until you get 1-3 gems then go to paper and do the same thing, then go to salt click like made and after 30 or so seconds they just pour in, 30-40 seconds worth of clicking i go from 0 gems to 20 some plus
i get new picks all the time, mainly because I try to get the blacksmith up to my last picks level then make a new one, you almost always get a good pick this way and you can usually jump up 2-3 minerals.

I play this game on Kongregate and on my Android phone. I love how it's the same on both! Although it's simple, this is easily my favorite idle game.
