It would be nice if your progress was stored not on your pc but on kong, this would avoid any progress loss. I just had to reinstall Windows on my pc and I would love to keep playing this game but starting from nothing again is not fun. I hope you take this into account of you ever make another game like this :)

A tip that goes with kaves: when the blacksmith saves your gem(s), he saves all of them that were used. This means that if you crafted 11 at a time using 11 gems at once via the upgrade, if he saves the gem, he will save all 11, so that you have another 11 chances at a better pickaxe.

I wish there was a bank that you could put money in and gain interest in and be able to upgrade how much interest you gain out of it.

im so lazy im idling the hole game, so far my auto damage insta mines hellstone lvl 3, i want to get to the max just by insta mining

Is there a chance that while the game is closed you could also get gems? Even if you start out with 1 gem per hour. That would be cool!

Best way to get gems:
get a few of those gem % increase, a lot of auto-click speed, use the Poo level, and sleep/read a book/play a diff game/watch TV for a while

A lot of people mention losing their save. To back up the save file to your documents, open the command prompt and run this command:
cd %appdata% && for /F "usebackq delims=?" %i in (`dir /s /b minertest.sol`) do @copy /Y "%i" "%UserProfile%\Documents"
To restore the file, run:
cd %appdata% && for /F "usebackq delims=?" %i in (`dir /s /b minertest.sol`) do @copy /Y "%UserProfile%\Documents\minertest.sol" "%i"
I tested the backup command on Windows 8.1, but I didn't test the restore command at all; so I can't guarantee it works correctly.

For those of you the game isn't saving for: 1. Right click, settings, give it a few Mb of save space. 2. Stop clearing temp files and cookies. 3. someone else is clearing temp and cookies on your computer. IE your boyfriend trying to hide his porn surfing.
