When you open the "?" menu and click the rock a couple hundred times, it displays a copyright message of sorts. Does anyone know if you continue to click it, will it give you something good? I will continue to click it for a good while and report back. If someone has information to save me time or encourage my journey, I would love you to hellstone 2236 and back

I literally can't mine the rock. when I click on it, it does no damage. I also ran out of gems, so I can't craft any other pickaxe (unless there's some way to get more gems which isn't explained to the player at an early stage).

I have been playing this game since I saw it pop up here on Kong back in 2013. I'm only on Hellstone Lv 132 and I gotta say... still great.

So, my gem waster shows that I should be able to spend 1544 gems at a time, but the up arrow for spending gems only limits me to 454. Is this a bug?

Thank god for all of you lot. I play this game about once a year but this is the first time I've ever totally committed to the Hellstone path. I felt like I was wasting my time. But the fact that you have all also wasted hours on this makes me feel wayyyyy better.

One shouldn't start with a pick, but with a knife that always (no matter how high the active / passive bonus) does 1 damage on poo and always zero on anything else (hope you get the reference) and you'd need at least 1 blacksmith upgrade to unlock pick crafting. Without that, he'd only craft another knife (with random quality).

@arus51 quality just means how lucky/powerful the pickaxe is the more base power the higher quality i used 5 gems and the lower the base power I saw that the lower the quality was so its just a reminder really for how lucky your blacksmith got when making it at his level hope i helped

"Q is its relative quality -- it doesn't affect anything but the higher that number, the luckier you were to craft it." So, does that mean the average quality upgrade is useless?
