anybody who says they've gotten to lvl 2237 within 6 months (and that's optimistic) without the use of marital aids (such as auto-clicker) or just plain cheated, is full of a lot of the first level of this game.

figured I'd start again after being trapped at hs lvl 90 for 2 days. there was a reason why this game was fun, wasn't there? also tried to figure out the pick naming logic - there is something there, but it's clearly not exact:

Once you realize that you can cheat by altering the system clock, it makes the game much more interesting, and ruins it at the same time. But having gotten to Hell lvl 30 naturally, I'm OK with that. It also puts the game in perspective: After awhile, simulate letting the game sit for a full year, come back..and you can buy like two upgrades. Kind of glad I didn't actually wait that year.

Supposedly doing 115mil auto damage per second. Should clear a 19bil ore in about 165 seconds. Not really keeping up. May want to modify how this is being calculated.

By the way, the end cannot be reached without cheating. I upgraded the forge as much as possible, and after this, trashed more than 50k gems to get one of the best pickaxes, which is an Incredible ULTIMATE PICK +19 with quite high power and 2474% Q. This is enough (on maxed upgrade) to beat Hellstone lv. 1181. The only thing I miss, is the high active power, which could give another factor of 1000, a few ten levels. That's all...

The lv. 2237 is not the real end. I't because of money oveflow, so it can be done on previous levels also. I suggest to limit the money value. Also, the loading suxx around level ~2220.

Well, I figured out how idle power works, and gaining gold while game is closed. It is easy to hack... just close game with selected material with highest auto g/s. Then change computer date to 2099, back to game and you are reach :). You can set date back to 2014 and do it again and again.
Maybe a little fix ?

INFINITE GEMS:
After getting 100+ gems, save the game, open multiple tabs of Idle Mine, and craft using multiple gems ONLY on the duplicated tabs. If you don't get a pickaxe that you like, then close the duplicated tabs, and save the original one so nothing happened. Then repeat. If you DID get one you liked, save that one and close all the others.

there should be "enemies", but not creatures, but special ores that hold treasures, such as a very good pickaxe or thousands of gems. one that came off the top of my head, reminded to me by a previous comment about dreamstone, is the rainbow shell from Chrono Trigger. There should also be an actual ultimate pickaxe, more powerful than anything your blacksmith could ever create, that is only available at a very late lvl of hellstone, but the farther you get, the more likely it is you get it.

I finally figured out that being able to afford yet another Upgrade for the Blacksmith is not possible with the Pickaxe the current Blacksmith can make you, regardless of Quality. http://i.imgur.com/C2HKo9s.png (yes, I cheated).

Gem waster doesn't make a better quality picks, it just shows the best result out of xx tries. Not very useful early in the game, but comes in extremely handy later on, when your pick quality is in thousands and it takes tens of thousands of gems to get a better one.

I think this game is so popular because of the "not playing but still evolving part". Actually that's what makes this game different than other idle games, and also my favorite part

I have noticed that the Gem Waster actually does way better in quality, so it's worth using if you already have over 1000% quality all the time.

"Sorry I crafted a dud", this pickaxe is capable of mining quintillions worth of resources in seconds, and the blacksmith just throws it away instead of giving it to someone else, just because it's slightly worse than your pickaxe?

Decided to upgrade the "Blacksmith Efficiency" upgrade which makes it so there is a chance the blacksmith wont use a gem while crafting. If you constantly click the "craft a new pickaxe" button he will craft a new one without using any gems. The better the upgrade the more often he does this.
