A few things to note:
Gem Percentage Yield applies to all completed ores, not for each individual swing. So if you're auto-harvesting on an ore that takes you one swing to mine, you have an X% chance of getting a Gem. Harvesting larger rocks yield a much less % chance of getting an ore per swing.
Auto-Click faster upgrade will eventually outdo the amount of times a person can click per second. This upgrade is great if you're not trying to put a lot of time into the game.
Crafting specialty picks will propel you forward faster than waiting, so focus on Gems and increasing quality and power for the pick, manual click upgrades are great starting out, but these are great for later on in the game.

just worked out that if my power stayed the same then i'd have to wait 355 years to buy each available upgrade once. Good job my active power creeps and that gems can find better picks!!

I feel like we should have a stats page showing all the types of pick we have managed to find, effectively showing us how close we are to finding the top stats. Is there anything above legendary godly pick? I've heard of mythical.

For those of you who cant get enough gems, just set your auto click to an ore that just takes 2 hits from your auto click. Then go do something else, but leave this window open. When you come back you wont have a ton more money, but you will have more gems if you wait like 10-20 min.

the large amounts should be done similar to scientific notation for computers so that we don't have to have these awkward abbreviations. "E+9" and "E+18" is tidier and more understandable than "b" and "qt". You could have them at every magnitude too, choosing how many significant figures and decimal places to have (which is where it would deviate from scientific notation).
