if you set your date to several years from now, your power will be increased greatly, as the game will think that you have had the game open for several years and your idle and active power will be insane. However, google.com's contract with the internet will expire in december of 2014, so if you want to google anything, reset your time to before that

Please make it so the quality % is in comparison to the blacksmith's current skill. So it modifies as you upgrade his skill levels.
That's what the power already does. Quality is just a means of measuring how rare the thing you made is. But the skills do increase your average quality somewhat so I guess it does go up too.

Over 12 hours with 3 hours of "playing", I'm on Orbium. I have no clue where on the spectrum that leaves me, but I'm surprised that it keeps going. This is the best idle game I've played. It's simple, quick progression, extremely well balanced, and every play style works. 5/5.

how is this an idle game? It takes way too long to get to any point where you can just let it run. and towards the point where I am mining hellstone lvl 1, It will take me 2.5 days to get my next upgrade for anything... I estimate about 1 day if i spend it actively clicking full speed for the full 24 hours. needs some end game balance work.

DuBSLiNGeR: D means something like Damage Resistance. The bigger it is, the less damage you do per click.
hg897: Gold allows you to buy upgrades. Click on the upwards-pointing arrow in the top-right corner of the game to see the upgrades that you can buy.

The downside to this is that if you do anything other then keep the game focused, you gain zero gems, which defeats half the purpose of the automatic swings. If you can tweak that, it would be better.
Well, that, and the tab targeting of the rock. I prefer to enjoy the game, but not break my hand / mouse / finger / hand / wrist / arm / sanity.
But, that's just me.

So you can mine gold... and sell it for 400,000,000 gold... that must be a really big piece of gold or we are total rip-offs. or maybe the gold is just really small.

Ultimate Cheat: Buy "idle power" (get gold while not playing), turn off game, then adjust date in your computer to a few decades in the future.

This game would improve if there were 2 stone "paths" one for hellstone - on to whatever it goes to now - and another for the rest of the ores. This could help you on your updates as well, as we can get through hellstone without the "story" being ruined.

i think it would be better if you set temporary caps like arcanium being the final stone until next update, or put hellstones on a different stone path thats sepperated from the main stone progression, because having infinite hellstones on the end is going to make future updates weird

Surprisingly deep. Very fun, I imagine that with a bit of consistent updating, it could become one of the more awesome idle games out there.

For people having trouble with the abbreviations of very large numbers: million, billion, trillion, quadrillion, quintilian, sextillion, septillion, octillion, nonillian, decillion, undecillion, duodecillion, tredecillion... That is the order of numbers up to 10^42.
