@aronzei BECAUSE IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO. It deals less damage than it says because it does attack more than once per second. Look, If I had a 1.000 pickaxe and my Auto Speed was 1.5 then It would do 1,500 Auto Clicker/ Second. If you can't understand this... Then there's no hope for ya bro.

When you're idling *offline* (Idle Power, the one you can buy the upgrade for), you have to select the ore/gem/whatever you want to mine (presumably using the best Auto g/s you currently have) before closing the browser. If you close the browser on an ore you can't auto-mine, you won't get anything while offline. BTW, there's a *lot* of different stuff you can mine, credit to Crovie for getting inventive :)

RE: Everyone who has mentioned the Active Power resetting, I think it only happens when you leave the game idling for a while and then click on the same rock that it was idling on.
Side note, when doing the above, it says 0 rocks broken, 0 gems found and negative damage
Thank you for this information. Let me know if this still happens on v1.0b (refresh if you haven't -- version can be checked in the help page). I think it should be fixed though. It is supposed to give you the stuff you should have earned when your browser pauses the game because you minimize/change tabs.

Reworded: Total Damage/Click deals actual damage. AutoDamage/Click does not deal actual damage in comparison to Total Damage/Click.

Total damage/click= (Pick power * Manual Click power * Autoclick power * Active mult * Iddle mult) - Defense
Auto damage/s [Roughly] = (Pick power * Autoclick power * Active mult * Iddle mult * Speed) - 1,5 Defense

deth, ive gotten 3 gems in a row before. it is really down to luck. usually when i want gems i go to hardest rock i can one hit and then rapidly click that till i get the gems i want.

@aronzei, Of course it does. It shows you Damage/Second. If you auto clicked does 1,500,000/s and has a speed of 3 clicks per second it will do 500,000 damage. It's that simple... ><

Maybe Active-Power change to Idle-Power after a while, because nothing pressed.
