Is it just me or is it impossible to make a better pickaxe at higher level? i'm at amethyst and it just spends a gem and says "Sorry i crafted a dud" and shows some info on it. and i can't see any upgrade that changes this.

Hellstone is just an illusion, I call it gameover by the time i can mine the final Ore before hellstone with a single click.

@dries8 there was this episode of an old series that I watched when I was a kid where the characters spend the whole time searching for a gem that a goat had eaten. evidently, they went through its poop at one point or another...

Here is a tip, pick the highest amount of AUTO G/S ore, leave it over night. Bam, tons of money. If you want gems, put it on one that can insta-mine.(Recommend that you pick the one with the most AUTO G/S) Then leave it over night. :)

it alt-shift-num lock and activate the ease keys and then spam 5 and + on the num pad (every time you hit 5 it counts as one click every time you hit the + it counts as two clicks)...you'll save yourself from carpal tunnel syndrome and your mouse won't go bad :D.

(to wolffang7789) you cant. but that would be a nice addition.
(to the creator of this awsome game) this...game...is....awsome....1000000000000000000/5 for sure!
but....after you mine for a while the game gets boring......and...well...yeah.
(suggestions) idea 1.maybe a 1 in 3 chance that instead of the ore it could be a monster! monsters have 3x the hp of ores 0.7x the defence 2x$ AND the empire strikes back! What i mean by that is...they do damage
idea 2.minigames...... whack a gem...gemball.....you can play minigames for money but you need gems to play them. the ammount of money the game gives is higher if the game costs more gems.
idea 3.swap money for gem and swap gem for money........yeah...BUT in order to do that you need to buy the market upgrade! with 15 gems...and youve only seen rock you can get 15250....but with 15 gems and youve obtained unobtainium then you get 500.25 bilion!

This game would be on par with Cookie Clicker if you worked harder on the art, as it is now the game is a little too drab.

What's the best pickaxe we could possibly make? Been stuck with Incredible Hyper Pick + 5 P: 999800 Q: 895.12% for a while

needs a few badges, "making it through tons of poop" = mine an absurd amount of poop. "10,000 paper cuts later" = mine 10,000 paper, and so on and so forth to give you a reason to stay at the lower minerals.

@sirblimpo, the medical data out there don't support the idea that carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by mouse clicking. Repeated clicking is more likely to make you suffer from a less-exotic-sounding repetitive strain injury, such as tendinitis.

So, when my HR representative asks me how I suddenly developed carpal-tunnel syndrome at work, how do I avoid telling them that I was mining poo for gems, exactly?
