If you keep the game open in a separate window, you can still do other things and the game will keep going. At least, that works for Firefox.

The best way to get gems is to mine on things that you can one-click gather. Gems are based off of individual rocks mined, not how many hits you swing.

The most important thing to upgrade is your pick, as everything else are just multipliers and modifiers, so yes, the "gem waster" is worth it. With 1 gem you rarely get more than 200~300%Q, with 39 gems you can get +1000%Q often and even +2500%Q sometimes.

The idle gold/s is calculated with (something like) this formula:
((Pp*Ip*ACp-D)*ACr*$)/HP
PP: Pick Power
Ip: Idle Power
ACp: Auto-Click Poer (Upd screen)
D: Mineral Defense
ACr: Auto-Click Rate (Upd screen)
$: Mineral Value
HP: Mineral HP
The g/s value is not used in-game, it's just there for you to know how much are you earning.

nevitar.. even if it has 1 damage point left before its mined. it doesn't matter what pick you have it will only do 1 damage. this isn't a roll over damage plan

@Vantroi - thats a Flash issue, it just doesn't run while in the background like that. If you just keep another window open, and nothing running fullscreen, it should still run.

the game is kind of buggy while idling, im using firefox and when i open another tab the game "pauses", this also happens when i open something else on fullscreen mode.

All the people saying that losing save = clearing cache, playing on new computer, etc. I'm not doing any of that. Refreshing the browser with an active internet connection makes me start at 0.
