@Thegame_fox Shields are immune to acid and those little aliens. Also quad missiles are the most effient thing against aliens.

@Thegame fox:Againts spore aliens you need to play in defence mode, you just can't outrun them.I usualy build an Extractor-2 Autogun and 1 Reactor and then is your choice ,but wait untill you build an Starport and an Capital Ship (but i dont recommend carrier) that can take down the small alliens. This is always working for me ,even if is hard ,but it got me to Level 6.
P.S this is working againts all tipes of enemy ,but you need shield againts the one that have freeze attacks

I was going to play this game, but after reading all that was wrong with it in the comments, I decided not to and played something else.

Had a lot of fun with this game until those acid using aliens destroyed me every time I went against them. I can't figure out how they are spawning their capital class ships so fast. Seriously ruining the experience for me to have such a powerful army and not be able to beat them because they can spawn faster AND have acid on everything they can spawn. Just let me know if there is a way to block the acid or spawn things faster myself.

@cwwallis accidently sold my miners... uhhm could u give them back+ make a buy back for a hour option or something like that?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
can you at least make a confirm option when your selling stuff? because sometimes, I accidentally click some wrong stuff...

Since everything is named for roman and greek mythology things i have an idea for a capital ship. Aegis. 5000 armor 1000 shield 20 shield and armor regen.Launches 2 fighters and is armed with almost no weapons since it has so much hp.

Good game, but there are some levels I start my base blows up immediately. Its like it was sabotaged by the enemy with out them even sending a ship.

I was going to write a 1 page essay(and i did), but I decide to cut it short. Here are my suggestions. Increase map size and distances between bases. Make constructors and add walls/blocks available to everyone at the start of each game. Add a new building called Refinery and move miners and exhumers there. Each Refinery can control up to a # of ships and can be increased by certain techs and can build miners until it reaches its maximum. Remove 1-3 random upgrades to only 1 random upgrade. Fix freeze, poison and etc ammo. Totally unbalanced in PvP. Add simple commands like Attack, Defend, and Retreat. To prevent massive laggy giant deathballs, there is a limit to the number of ships you can control. Each ship takes up a certain supply spot that can be increased by very costly and large supply depots. Lastly, add new stuff to campaign and fix the bosses. The bosses are a sign of lack of creativity. Implement some of these suggestions and we will be more satisfied.

1) Bosses need balancing. Sometimes it's a walk in the park, other times you get steamrolled within seconds.
2.) The idea of limited "lives" that replenish every hour (or can be bought) is f*cked up. Keep the credit card handy in case you get a steamrolling boss or in case you want to try a new strategy that might not work? No thanks.
3.) Turrets, especially the long ranged arty, are way too awesome for their pricetag.
4.) It's so small, everything is cramped. No full screen and tiny maps... it doesn't feel like I'm having vast space battles... more like angry squirrels somewhere in a backyard.
5.) Battles all play out the same. Once you got a strategy that works there's very little difference between battles.
6.) PvP pits newbs with stock fighters against veterans with multi-upgraded dreadnoughts... fun for both sides.
7.) Random upgrading ... why? Feels like that was put in as it is so people get annoyed and just fork over a few bucks in the cashshop.

Couple ideas that I think could improve an already fun experience here. 1) A small period of time to setup during pvp, before the match starts. After all, if you lag against anybody using freeze, you are pretty much toast. 2) A way to either minimize some of the info boxes or build under them (as well as the edge of the screen). They sometimes cover usable space and can cost you on higher lvls of campaign and pvp. 3) Would be nice to directly target either enemy ships or construction pads. More than a little frustrating to watch your cap ship wander off while the enemy cap rapes your base. 4) A way to setup specific pvp games, either with certain ppl, or certain types of games. 5) It would be nice to have a full store of most of the un-upgraded ships alongside the rotating random shop. Would be nice to buy a basic ship of the type I want and upgrade it.

@Nikola1223 exactly because the aliens keep wasting their money rebuilding their useless towers that cant reach the quad missles. Also in my opinion they are the easiest to beat

This game requires some serious balancing. Basically I often get caught where other player swarms me with fighters with freeze from 1st second - this is basically impossible to defend unless you expect it.
Some players can get long range cannons from very beginning and just shot your base - if you dont have good enough inventory - you will be dead in a minute.
Some cannons are way to strong (especially long range ones).
The game promotes Rush attacks instead of long and fun gameplay - make maps 50% bigger and let players to have at least few seconds to plan next step they get swarmed with enemy army...
Fix matchmaking - why I am being matched with veteran player when I am newbie?
Keep it good work!

How about some kind of Multiplayer campaign?Something like 2 players playing the same level together, but the resources they get is 30% less than ussual and if the level reward is money they get 30% less money too.

Green aliens are unfairly overpowered. That instant-kill speck is such a bother, especially since all larger ships shoot them out. There's no chance for defensive turnarounds and letting one slip by means one major building dies. It feels unrewarding to play against that race, because you play the entire round worrying about one little tiny thing slipping by and screwing everything up. Had a great match going, Mjolnir set up, one tiny guy gets past my carriers and kills my stardock, game over; that race could stand to be balanced A LOT

The pause feature needs to actually pause the game, not allow it to move a frame at a time every time you place a turret/building.

Lobby system and team vs team would be great .. and we all want a room for some tactics , there will be so much choices and options if u will be able to direct where ur units go .. anyway i rate this game 5 start :) good work

To use fighters in defense you'd need to keep them from flying away. I don't see how you defend yourself with ships in this game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Glucharina: synchronized fighter building would be a great option for mass offence, for defence it can be useful to have a steady stream of fighters to keep bigger attackers occupied...same works for distracting tower defenses from your own attackers. still, as a command/option, a nice idea

Make IT so you can delete extra weapons, not just have redundant ones. I dont need 2 ship types, i litterally have 4 of the same ship taking up inventory...REALLY
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Have you considered synchronizing ship building. Fighters particularly are comically useless because unless you build lots of them at once with pause they will arrive to battle one by one and get shot before they could do any harm. If fighter deployment would be determinated by one timer instead of fighter bay specific they would be far more useful.

Best things I think to improve the game: have a lobby system.
Second best: so I like how we do not direct the units. It is part of the fast paced combat that has been a hallmark of the obliterate games since the start. But: you could have a system where you set what the auto target does. Something like the system in the Dragon age games, where you can in between games set a priority target ranking or something for each ship type. Would make it so people no longer complained about the tactics used by the auto targeting while keeping the fast paced combat.

Too bad you need to be able to connect to a server for singleplayer. :(
Office proxies blocking multiplayer games will block the campaign too.

I'll second the difficulty curve problem. One map I'm sailing along. The next map some asteroid placement and some dump missile pathing means I lose three lives in a row to acid bomb alien things.

Ericbomb988878:
Okay here is a quick guide on how to counter the most common rushes. I pvp a lot and these work most of the time for me. + if it's helpful and you want others to see it. Non cloaked Fighter rush - beating this is simple, a laser will do the trick. Even if they have freeze you'll destroy them before they get close enough to fire. ------cloaked fighter rush----- build a laser like with normal but ALSO put a barricade or empty fighter bay 2 tiles in front of it. The cloaked fighter will decloak to attack it and your laser will blow it up.------tower rush---- build 1 phalanx and it will handle a couple artillery/mjonlers. If they keep building them just keep building phalanx. ----laser rush---- phalanx don't work against beam weapons, so for this try to get 25 metal asap and build a barricade. The beams will focus on the barricades and it'll take them a bit to destroy each one
