1.theres a bug whee ships you earn in the campaign somtimes dont even pop up in you armory...ever.
2. pricing is terrible
3. conputers need better AI's with a healthier curve.

Also, for multiplayer, maybe a scaling factor? ive been matched up so many times with people who way out class me techwise.

Needs Auto hide HUD, maybe add an option to "place" your own base first before the battle starts. too many times has my base started in the bottom corner and i cant place anything behind my base. and maybe allow upgrades (like you do with ships) to your basic buildings.

Why people say it's pay to win ??? you can earn lots of gold and platinium in Campaign. The farther you go the better stuff you find... lvl3+ campaign is where the game start really, make good use of all the bonus/malus of every turrets and ships you have. the 750g for upgrade is fear as you sometimes find stuff you can sell 200-300g. Great game 4/5 :) Need some improvement : - better AI - bigger area with base not in front at start - preference target for turrets - and why not adding some RP with lvl and xp for the base commender with unique traits and research tree - multi with 2vs 2 would be awesome too.

...The game makes getting anything anywhere near that quality nearly impossible for the average F2Per, thanks to the lotterylike mechanic of Upgrades. Did you just upgrade that ship you really, really liked, but only got a useless-in-context +3 armor regen for your efforts? That's too bad, because if you want another shot at an upgrade you want for that ship you are going to have to either find another blueprint or buy it from the shop, and upgrade it with another 750 gold. Woe is you if that particular ship is very expensive or very rare in the first place. The only feasible way to get anything anywhere near what you want is to grind, grind, grind, and grind some more, for a time so long that this strategy is by itself unfeasible. Unfortunately, the game itself is very repetitive, which leaves little incentive to grind and grind and grind to get what you want in the first place.

This is probably one of the few games of a series that gets a lower rating the more parts of the series is created. It's not that the game is bad itself, but it incorporated paying aspects that aren't simply cosmetic and actually give you big advantages, and I do mean BIG! Compare the stock Corvette, a pathetic medium sized... corvette, that launches a couple even more pathetic fighters. With a very good upgrade that Corvette could change their pathetic fighters into Sapphires, one of the best in the game, improve your ship-launching rate, and to top that off an upgrade that lets you launch more ships at one time. Now, compared to your old stock Corvettes, your new tricked-out corvettes will deploy twice the number of much better fighters with less time in between deployments...

Why have you people voted negative on killer? I bet he's 10 times more experienced than 90% of people playing this. You should follow his advice, not go LOL NUB.

Many people say that this is a "pay to win" game but what most people don't realize is that all the things can be obtained for free. I earned over 200 platinum just from multiplayer; it just takes a lot of time and effort to win. A tip for new players would be this: Do campaign, earn gold and stuff, go to multiplayer and lose, learn from mistake and from others, back to campaign, earn more gold and stuff, win and lose multiplayer, buy from store or upgrade, and REPEAT. It just takes the time and effort to become a top player. I've already spent over 24 hours on this.

We need more types of game types, like 4vs4 or 2vs1 random type of games to make things more interesting. What about adding meteor storms or neutral aliens. Also I would love to see different types of races with different bonuses, and upgrades for each race type.

The microtransactions aren't that bad with the exception of the cost of the miner. 1200 for one of the most basic units in the game is ridiculous.

it would be cool if we could have 2 or more armory loadouts, like one with phalanx, freeze rounds for pvp, another with artillery for spore alien, etc.

Please, please balance the game better. The campaign's difficulty is more a cliff than a ramp in difficulty, and EMP eats everything in MP.

So the second boss instantly shits out 4 battleship factories while I barely have time to make one and some basic economy/fighter defense. Not sure how that's even possible to beat.

I really want to like this game, but I'm on the second mission and I just get my ass handed to me every time. Is there something I'm missing?

@noahjsc In all honesty buying from the store is usually a rip off as you can get the same or even better items in the campaign. As far as lives are concerned those are being upped shortly to 10. Paying money for this game does not in any way guarantee that you get better stuff.

Well...I see they went the route of "cash hard" are you serious with the base attempts? I understand developers need cash but that's kind of ridiculous. You won't hear from me again.

Aliens need a damn nerf. Auto destroy your base. turn all your ships against you they have no weaknesses to compensate.

The campain maps are way too random in difficulty, the main problem being the starting positions colliding with the UI.
