What would happen with an Auction house [selling items player to player] is I would put a blank piranha on the auction, for 30 Plat. Then make a new account, and buy that Piranha for 30 plat. An auction wouldn't work because people would abuse it.

could you put in a thing were you could sell stuff to people almost like and auction and higher bidders will claim the prize. And you would be able to sell upgraded stuff like green blue or red stuff.

You keep focusing on making new ships, make new campaign content like new modes, like 4 instead of 3 bases and AI, new types of AI like black, for an archangel rush

Since we have 2 cap and 3 med options, Could we please have 4 fighter bay options? Like the specter and miner with 2 choice? Because the miner is like required and that only really gives us 2 remaining spots.

In the level 20's are Green/Red bosses possible? if not, how do you effectively defend or go on offense to beat them? Boss has 4 caps and 6 mediums to my choice of a naval yard or starport. Maybe we should start with 300 metal or have better production or are we not suppose to go up against these guys and keep restarting until we get once that's doable?

Flank and Pincer seem to be bugged. Top and middle get 500 energy from start, but the down one gets 1000. It should be the middle one that gets 1000.

@yraco: you either advance a level after playing enough missions or you can restart the level and get new missions with the same difficulty.

could you make it so we can replay missions so we can get more gold and go to the shop because i have trouble using the shop with almost no gold from missions and i dont like selling ships when i cant replay missions and get them back
vote + so the developer can see

Your comment may be constructive criticism, but in MY opinion, (although the dictionary might not agree) constructive criticism should be "constructive".
A Google search (key word: "constructive define") of the definition will garner you the words "tending to build up", but it also states that the word is a "synonym" of many words, including :"positive" and "encouraging".
It is also MY opinion that the general voice of your comments are not so welcoming and arrogant (I know, I'm a hypocrite), as if your more superior than others (which you may be...)
NOTE: sorry for caps, I just wanted to make it clear that it was only my opinion (its obvious isn't it?). Also, sorry for making this so long, I didn't have time to shorten it.

What I wrote was constructive criticism about major aspects of the game.
This game has a number of great qualities. However, when major obstacles appear that depreciate or outright obstruct the appreciation and experience of the game for a large population of players, then it stands to reason that the issues must be addressed. I voiced my concerns and proposed solutions where I could within the 1000 character constraint, all for the sake of encouraging the improvement of the game. That is constructive criticism.

Give cwwallis a break! Why don't you people write CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM and also learn how to be POLITE (haha, i'm a hypocrite).
From my sources* (*members of the OE3 community) cwwallis has a real job, and this is only his "side project" for "enjoyment". I don't think cwwallis appreciates being bombarded by complaints every day about small details of the game.

dieben the game also has no balance for asteroids. sometimes you'll get a little one while your foe gets 3 large ones or you'll get so many that you have nowhere to build while your foe's miners hack away at the asteroids

OE3 is ambitious, but the infrastructure needs help dearly. Prompt action on the following issues may help OE3 live up to its potential. Presently...
...there's insufficient monitoring & patching of exploits/hacks. Nothing is foolproof, but there're still individuals blatantly cheat for weeks w/o consequence.
...disorganized matchmaking cripples PVP participation. New/low-ranked players are regularly paired with opponents on the highscore board. Losing constantly is frustrating, prompting the avoidance of PVP entirely. The inclusion of a ranked-pairing system for PVP would likely increase participation greatly.
...placement on a map's edge makes some of your area useless. Buildings on the edge are denied options that go offscreen or under the armory.
...the lack of options for those whose PC/internet slow down in PVP. Matches lag/freeze entirely even before NY's or Caps appear. Bullethell is a core theme of OE3, but graphics options would make OE3 more manageable for typical PC's.

i think the 'constructor' utility deserves to be a free slot like the reactor and extractor. it's a key unit and used in more builds than the extractor

Wallis said he did have a freeze nuke unit (like the Pandemic, but with freeze) but I thin he said it might not be fair.

please make special missions like a big asteroid in the middle to fight over, or starting with energy and starports but no build, or something like it

now i am getting mad with this game. first the limited lives in the campaign. then further down the road when i cant get passed a boss i have no cash to buy any new units, no way to make cash there and multiplayer is useless because you make no money, it would be nice to make money from the multiplayer so i can get passed the boss. but i am stuck at 38 coins.
