need to keep Christmas mode up for a while so us newbs can have a chance in hell of getting a stable that has even a slight chance against the veterans.......they have over a year head start and a full stable of all reds........I'm throwing mostly greens and am going to quickly lose interest if it takes 750 to maybe make one ship better.......as I know I will never have the opportunity to buy things with platinum because I will never win a pvp against people who have spent a year building their stable.

@azariarob I assume that by "above" you mean the third dimension. No, projectiles and ships can only move in 2 dimensions, horizontally and vertically. They can't shoot from the third dimension of above. As for missiles attacking from the back, yes, missile homing can be sluggish. Just use lasers to kill the faster fighter ships so the missiles won't waste time homing on them.

also missiles shouldn't have to attack ships from the back i think the missile McCurdy has to be fix a little

The OE4's 3D graphics are amazing.However,the moving screen lag and the poor accuracy of cannon turrent should be fixed.

There should be a spectate mod for qm and pm. There should be a in-game lobby where it shows the statues of players, so people can watch other battle and learn from them

I hope it works all normally in the full game although the graphics have gone up a notch. we also couldn't scroll in the prototype. but it looks a lot more promising. keep up the good work.

insta glitch with the prototype version. extractors aren't working like normal..... they aren't even really mining and we do not have a proper build radius like all of the others. its something new but it won't be easy... some of the turrets also weren't firing and we also could not produce ships in the prototype...... I don't wanna be rude but it was the truth for my pc....

Aliens don't actually require black hole guns for their caps unlike some others. A few micros for anti-spore and then quads or some other heavy hitting gun to take out the caps. (Also cobras OP vs clouds. A single cobra can take out the lower lvl bases on it's on)

@ericbloedow If there are no more asteroids left, you can use extractors as turrets, or do what i do and get a miner with cloak module (cloak miners work just like cloak cutlass, it is invulnerable until after it first shot, so the first shot never misses)

@Hypnotic use cobras to beat green aliens. Get some additional micro lasers and a black hole gun, then you are set for defense. Finally, use some cap with a shield.

we have all been there hypnotic XD aliens can capture any a.i technology or your own. sometimes the a.i even feeds them which is not normal for the a.i I reckon...

sometime i sell item and i start playing with empty slot :s , could you auto fill empty slot or do a little message to equip something before we start play ?

its a nice game. The graphics are better than the previous game, obliterate everything 2 and this game has an immense variety of ships and levels

Uploaded Christmas Mode with discounted upgrade costs and boosted daily bonus. OE4 demo level prototype should be sometime next week.

40fy thats not what he said... he meant that maybe the daily platinum bonus could be more than normal because it is Christmas... not anything about OE4. I dont understand either why the plat bonus is the same for even holidays.

@40fy I agree that naval yards are an excellent rush. However, this is not in "most cases". You need cloaked mediums, that have high damage or are carriers. These meds MUST be cloaked as they will otherwise get wrecked by frameglitched lasers (lasers that fire in a solid beam doing 50 dps each). My personal favorites are cloak engine e shield a athena (engine helps athena fly over base and attack from behind, shield is good against freeze) and cloak hawk corvettes (cloak helps hawks fire at least once, as hawks have relatively low fire rate but good damage).

@gavinman114 with the right setup you can get out caps suprisingly fast. In most cases, you are better off getting some sort of naval yard though, which is faster and often stronger

The game is really fun and well made besides a few things.
The reward system is well designed, I always want to get more credits to be able to buy the best stuff. The battles are cool to watch though I wish I could do more to interact with said battles.
However, the tutorial is lacking if not nonexistent. The music is repetitive (though not horrible). I've many times found myself being immediately bombarded with fighters (however this is okay seeing as the repair turrets and otherwise.
Other than that its a really good game!

@MrSheepTheBah there is a very simple way to end the acid effect- just heal the afflicted unit with repair turret, hyper repair or engineer. Once a repair beam touches a burned unit, the acid goes away.
