Really quite hard, considering how often the fireball seems to pass through certain torches without lighting them and even getting an Ace on the FIRST LEVEL takes a long, long time. And I have no clue how to get an Ace on that mushroom level...

Brilliant game! absolutely top drawer!
I was listening to music while playing and the song "I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire" came on I pissed myself laughing!!!!!!

seems flawed...some refuse to light up then randomly do...other maps i light one out of 5 needed and i get an ace...wierd
cool enough thu, would like to burn more thu...like chain reactions when ya hit the hay and stuff

This is a fun game, although collision detect is shifted 1/4 torch length to the left, and fails to trigger if the fireball is fast enough. Fix those bugs, and you've got a cool game.
No comment on the 60 pointer, other than it's a best-time metric, not a single-run metric.

This game is fun and really hard. There is a reason that the Pyromaniac Badge is called 'Impossible' and worth sixty points. The game is based on physics (roughly) so its not just guess work. By the way to unlock secret level d you need 27 aces not 28 but you get a 28 after d because it has only one fireball.

Personally, 200 seconds would have been better, although I won't be able to reach that, regardless. Personally, guidelines showing your last shots would help. And for level 6, tell them that they just can't attack it directly. ]

I don't think getting all 44 aces will prove very frustrating if you enjoy the game, but getting them in under 160 seconds will just suck because it will mean repeating the same level over and over again. You'll have to rush to put the arrow into position so fast that you won't have time for precision. I've got 33 aces, and only 1 or 2 are in the 2-3 second range that you'd need to get the difficult badge. Keep in mind that 3.5 seconds each won't cut it, because certain levels are unavoidably slow because you either need two shots or the ace takes a slow path to get there.

I only give a review once a life time but this game is not only very hard but no point in playing becouse of the stupid pointless difficult in aceing most of them. only reason to play is for the badges. the impossible badge is impossible give up now. ill get my chainsaw and rip this game too shreds.........

DrunkenOrc, the Ace's arent hard, the Time is.
egaskrad, your guide line should just pass through the "]" in "[S]uicide", near the bottom.

First Impression: Bloody aweful. It seemed like the game had Zero difficulty curve. It's easy peasy then you die. Several aces are not possible. Seriously.
Second Impresion: The game was actually quite fun to play. Although the difficulty stayed insanely annoying, I did rather enjoy winning it.
Final Impression: My god, although this game is fun and addicting, it is not fair at all to get the aces. Can you honestly say you want to try every possible degree of shooting on every level to get an ace? It's outrageous.
Improvement: The gameplay, sound, replay value, and graphics are all fine. Difficulty not so much. Some levels need to be toned down, and some need to be toned up. I'd suggest repalcing "One shot to get an ace" With "Finish with an extra shot left to get an ace."
Over all, good game, but far to hard. 3/5

Silly Lonlyboysh, you need an average of 3.636363409090909090909...Of course, this balances out as soon are doable in 1.4-ish, where-as some require 5 or 6.

I like this game, but better if it did not
have the impossible badge, I think.
Just a bit too frustrating to chase all the aces when so many are not likely without being on just the right pixal.
Still 4/5

FINALLY!!! This took hours!!

Damn it, I was going to write a long, ranting diatribe on why this game should not have badges and how it makes the game sucks, but Lapper beat me to it. I'll just add that this game was actually fun without badges, but now it's just a pixel hunt for the badges.

Can't we get something a little less impossible on the impossible badge, like maybe 44 aces in 220 seconds. The 160 second limit is just insanely difficult.

I don't write reviews like this often, but I don't often come across games I hate this much. Pyro, at first glance, appears to be begging for a walkthrough, yet seems to be almost specifically designed to make it impossible to create one. Case in point, the entire "acing" process consists of moving one's cursor pixel by pixel in an attempt to find the preposterously improbable solution the developer has prepared. There's a fine line between "challenging" and "pointlessly difficult", and this game exemplifies the latter quite nicely.
