Well, the controls are pretty bad...the boss attack pattern looks random, so there's not much technique involved, just attack before they get the chance to use their best moves.

It's quite possible to dodge those attacks. I find the final boss to be very annoying due to his excessive use of skills.

Also, in the fifth world boss fight, I managed to knock the boss off the platform, but he didn't teleport; just stayed onthe lower level, and when I jumped down I died

Several of the bosses (coming to mind lighting sword and flaming skull) are somewhat cheap, in that if you're hit once by their chain attack, it'll keep hitting you until you die, regardless of health.

I like the game.. But it could be a bit better. For instance.. Why is there such a long distance between the "portal" and the blacksmith..? That's just a waste of time really.. And the numerous glitches that other people have mentioned. And oh, it linear, so you loose a star right there.. I want grinding in my RPG games!!! : ) Sorry, 3/5, but it still a great game.. I just don't like it ; )

first game after hundreds i've played to feel a need to comment. this game is a 5/5, a truly fantastic gem. consider this my plea to add badges/accomplishments.

Amazing game with amazing art. 5/5, even if the collapsing towers don't come back once you die. (+) this coment if you want that to be fixed.

okay, some people have been having trouble with the disappearing platform on chapter 3; position your bird so when you hit it, you come back and cling to the top edge of the ground. I believe that the producers knew this would happen and made one come back making it possible. Sweet game, 5 stars, good storyline, bug if you get stuck under a sinking doorway, it catapults you to the very top of the set, otherwise, good job Danielsun!!

This game was great. I did hit a couple glitches (the chapter 3 platform disappearing after death glitch, and the perpetual fall glitch on the same chapter), but the game was thoroughly fun to play form beginning to end. The puzzle-solving, platforming, fighting gameplay was great throughout pretty much every level.
My only complaint as far as the gameplay goes is the boss battles. The limited depth of the combat made them too straightforward. As a result, they came off as easy, but it had to be that way because if it was hard then it would just be frustrating since all you can really do is whack at the enemy, occasionally jump over a projectile, and hope they don't hit you. A few platforms during boss fights and the ability to attack mid-jump would have gone a long way to alleviating the one real flaw I saw in the game.

Encountered a game freezing bug:
Pressed W as I touched the end of level portal object. Focus shifted to bird. Can't control bird or regain focus on character.

Perhaps the most annoying control system - my laptop took a severe battering given just how frustrating it was. Despite this - I actually sort of enjoyed it....

infinite fall through level on third boss. a restart from checkpoint could fix this. so screw up x2.
I had to quite game. sorry,i wont start over and spend 45 mins for a chance to not happen again. 2/5 for the effort.

looks like a fair amount of effort went into this game, sadly for me the buttons stick on and off randomly all the time. So it's next to unplayable.

Oh and Lord Vandeer is just complete screwed over in this series just and downer for me. I the second one he doesn't realize that his actions were evil because all of his comrades were working against him. I got attached to him more than this lil shit who goes from getting knocked out but warlords to God status in 3 levels.

Nvm I was pissed I got stuck after a puzzle. Level design could be better and the puzzles were un-needed I enjoy the game until I rage quit.... ed

Theres a funny glitch, i'm not sure if you guys have seen this, where your fighting you charge up any attack (while directly ontop of enemy) you let it go and it just mass spams the hit on them XD makes it easier to get your special meter up, but its a double edged sword, the bosses can do it to, almost instantly killing you. Which is what sadly ended up ruining my killz. stoped it dead at 1,169 :( Awsome game though :P

Terrible level design. Nice story but the amount of auto death areas/ lack of checkpoints after timely puzzle make this a unbearable experience.

wow i love how the end boss can fall down into the pit and when i try to go get him, i die. so many glitches with this game. its getting very old with the increase and decreasing in speeds
