One problem with this game: there can still be ships floating around when all the ports have been closed. So no ships can make landfall. So you cant kill them and can't win. Happens a lot to me :S

Geez, everybody's simulating the swine flu. Most of you should realize that this won't give you an accurate representation of it's progression. For starters, there are a lot more airports and flights, shipyards and ships, than this game does. And I doubt that any disease anywhere at anytime has ever, or will ever, evolve this quickly and pose this much of a threat. If they did, mankind would have died out eons ago.

lol small goat! How ironic. This game is much better than the original. Although it is missing a few things. It needs commas in the world population numbers to make them easier to read. I really like how much more detailed the game is. It could also use very specific lethality, infectivity, and visibility values for all symptoms.

the key is to increase ambient resistances and having no sympthoms, and also getting transmitted by animals and in water to compensate for the lack of other ways to infect. When everyone's sick, get ultra lethal and u win
