I just got virus and saved like 100 evo points and made the virus as infective as possible, bought lvl 2 water resistance and lvl 1 everything else resistance. Then bought vomitting and all the level one two and three upgrades. Killing the humanrace is a pain but the challenge is easy. Beat it 8 times over infecting new york city :P

While oddly addictive, this game is incredibly shallow. I was amused at how I could cause panics by spreading slowly, and being harmless. Seriously, doesn't matter what you do; eventually you'll have everything that hasn't sealed itself off. As a sim game, this game fails, I feel more like I'm hexing the planet from the moon or something, with my evil magic.
210 days to kill everyone on realistic after a great start where I had the entire planet red, and I was lethal, in 30 days. You don't mess around with these 'impossible' badges...

Single-entry islands = suck. Also, I watched a ship sail from Madagascar, around Asia, around Australia, back around Asia, and then finally land in Spain. Realistic, my ass.

Great news: I started the game in Madagascar!!
Bad news: countries are starting to close their shipyards and I haven't gotten out of the country yet... T___T

for those having trouble with madagascar just restart until you start in madagascar avoiding that annoyance and I got the badge easily that way.

umm anyone else notice how in the Breaking News board, Marshal Law is spelt like that but in the region info it's spelt Martial Law?

great game... i think a region should turn black when it gets wiped out and you should be able to see the colours in the minimap

Okay. If you can start with Madagascar, you could destroy it. Just the problem is, it's very hard to spread disease from Madagascar to the world.

The best way to win is to spend your evolution points at the beginning getting rid of all symptoms so your disease only infects. Countries won't go on red alert that quickly and then you can save up your points for resistances. When the whole world is infected, buy heart disease. I had 2 million dead in seconds! :D

I thought Viruses were less treatable than Bacterial infections... because bacteria is easily killed with penicillin?

You know what, screw this dumb game. All level one resistances, NO symptoms, ONLY rodent and insect spreading, and Madagascar shuts down the ONLY shipyard. This game sucks, and needs to be debugged, 1/5. Kong should shut this game out until the dumb creator fixes bugs. Also, what's with weather reports?

This game seems more luck based than skill based. I love the idea and it's fun, but it's frustrating when you can't do anything to succeed if Madagascar, or anywhere else for that matter, closes up shop on you early on.

i usually start on madagascar and i thought off somthing with boats out in the ocean eventually they would die and the rats on the boats would leave and swim for closest shore so with luck that should spread the disease or what about boats just following the current eventually the boat would crash and then with dead or rats it should spread that should be factured into the game.
