Umm, hate to break it to you lackinglack1, but it worked just fine for me, starting in Madagascar. In fact, I think I got it done in under 90 days since I had enough points to purchase liver failure as well. Anyway, that's my first impossible bade! Thanks for the help everyone!

if you're still trying to get this badge, orangewombats strategy works very well. i got mine using a similar strat back in the summer, and so played today for amusement. starting in madagascar, i sold sneezing after about 10 days a few thousand people infected. after 24 days a boat left madagascar, and by 50 days every country had at least one infection. pumped the drug resistance, bought the symptoms recommended, and waited. it's day 100 and there are still about 100 thousand people left alive, so it's definitely a workable strategy, takes some luck of course.

buy sneezing, coughing, and 1 of every resistance but drug x1. then buy waterborne and airborne, (this will be very easy as a virus.) then wait for your disease to spread across the world. once everybody is infected, use all of your points to buy tier 4, heart failure and liver failure. make sure when the humans create a drug, you can afford drug resistance.
I've won 7 times, started 3 on madagascar, 2 on canada, 1 on new zealand, and 1 on china.

i started in madagascar, then randomly after infected a bunvh of people, it closed shipyards and i didnt infect any other countries lol

WHOA, the disease spread through like 7 countries without anything happening in the middle! it was real quick! My plan is to have no sympthoms, have all resistances (except drug) as high as possible and get the disease transmitted though everything except airbone. After a while, increase drug resistance and add sneezing (only after it got spread through all continents) and airbone, then when all countries are infected (or most of 'em), activate the heaviest smpthoms and they. r. ded.
