This is how to win, I don't remember who wrote this in the comments, sorry: "1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar.
If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it).
4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility.
6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart.
7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you.
9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. Then save for kidney failure and ataxia

Step 1: Choose parasite.
Step 2: Sell any visibility evolutions.
Step 3: Buy all resistances.
Step 4: Wait for every country to be infected.
Step 5: Buy all transmissions.
Step 6: Buy low visibility but deadly symptoms.
This may not work every time!

wow today i started my first relaxed mode and i win. how to do it:
Pass 1: Select a virus type; it´s more easy to infect MADAGASCAR with it.
Pass 2: when you have some evolution points, start to upgrade resistances. First drug then heat (or cold I started in New Zeleand) and then moisture. Repeat this all time.
Note: If you cant upgrade any resistance, upgrade first transmissions.
3: Upgrade synthoms.
4: See dieing the world!

after almost all ports in the world closing, there are some ships approaching ports and being rejected in an endless loop.... wonder how they still have fuel

Cool concept. Insanely stupid AI. No infectivity, still spreads. No visibility, still shutting down ports. Ships sailing all over the globe without docking. Everyone dead in Greenland, schools and airports still open. CAN'T INFECT MADAGASCAR.
