Hurricanes temporarily close airports due to high winds. Also temporarily closes schools and transit.
Drought
Droughts increase insect population, and boosts exposure to your disease if it is spreadable by insects.
Riots
Riots negate the effects of curfews.

And I had a bacteria game that infected everywhere except Madagascar, and so I let it run out to see how long it would take to kill everyone on the planet. Around 380 days, it took, even with all the lethality I could muster. Any way to narrow that down?

you know its sad when you start out in madagascar and it closes its port before you spread yet you have the urge to keep playing to kill them off before the vaccine completion.

Only thing I don't like is that I've had the world randomly lock down when at 0 visibility. NO SYMPTOMS, and the world shuts down.

Started in Madagascar, and got the whole world infected. Then Peru randomly closes down everything, so now I am stuck T.T

If you are going for the impossible badge, I think starting in Greenland is best. If you start in Madagascar, you can't do it in 100 days. Still a lot of luck involved.

how i didi, if someone want to know:
- started at new zeland with virus + coughing
- bought lvl 1 for cold, 1 for heat, 2 for moisture and 4 for drugs.
- when the virus spreaded the fisrt country, i sold the coughing
- started to pray waiting a F*** ship to arrive in madagascar... thks god, a ship arrived
- bought symptons lvl 1 and 2 and waterborne
- bought one symptom lvl 3 (kidney failure)
- spent the others point with cheap simptons
- and no more humanity.

Whats the point of the natural disasters? Shouldn't they help spread the disease? Its really lame that once a country goes in to full lock down there is no way to infect any one there no matter how many disasters seem to hit it. Nice concept for a game, just poorly implemented in how things work. If they fix it so it has some strategy it would be a great game, right now its too much sit back and pray you managed to get some one infected every where before they start to cure a disease that has no symptoms or shut every thing down for the same reason... then kill them all if you were lucky.

do the borders or shipyards ever open back up? my disease hasnt killed anyone.. you would think after a year or two with no symptoms or deaths they would need some supplies

very awesome bt i started in greenland and infected every place then started bying things that way no1 closes their borders and u will win bc all of the hos. close down so there will be no vaccine

1 Pick Virus
2 Start in Canada, Greenland, New Zealand, Cuba (if not, restart)
3 Sell starting symptoms (if any), other than sneezing. If you don’t have sneezing, buy it
4 Buy 1-1-1-0 Resistances
5 Once your disease spreads to a few countries, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility
6 Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes or this is after day 30, restart
7 Pump 4 Drug Resistance and buy sneezing, coughing, vomiting
8 After a few days, unlock tier 2-3 keeping whatever symptoms it gives you
9 Buy fever, fatigue, diarhea, pulmonary edema, hypersensitivity, hemorrhaging
10 Wait until everyone dies

Sell First symptom you start with.
Buy 1/1/1/0 resistance (that goes cold, hot, moist, and drug)
Now wait until you have ATLEAST 1 infected in every country.
Now upgrade drug to max. Buy sneezing, coughing, vomiting, diareha, kidney, hemroging, edma
Don’t do anything other then that, unless you get evo points for more deadly symptoms (fever)

sometimes, I think you have to unlock the other tiers of symptoms so you can SELL the ones it gives you automatically...

good game, I like the way you make your goal to mankind obliberation but... lack of graphics... would be awesome If you click on a region and then a screen opens showing the people diseased... and dying, and burning corpses... xD
