If you proceed exactly as Americanidot suggests, then you will make it in 1-30 tries.
Thats how long it took me.
As soon as you see Madagascar close their shipyard, prior to being infected, restart! The same applies to argentina to some degree. Just repeat the procedure a few times and with some luck you get it right

I started in Cuba, and did exactly as you said, Americanidot,
and hey, it worked! they were all killed in under 80 days!

I started in New Zealand and did exactly as you said to every detail, and it made it all over the world!!!...
...except Madagascar

American idiot, I started in Madagascar and did exactly as you said (except I sold sneezing when three countries were infected, not four.) and it didn't work.

i Didnt Write ths just reposting it 1) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, Mexico, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, if any, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. NEVER BUY ANY TRANSMISSION THINGS this does work!! Thanks for the comment!

thats good strategy: pick virus and buy inpovements that just increase the speed of the virus, then when all countries are infected, make it deadly ( muhohohohhahyahaha)
